Very good tool but I was expecting it to be supplied in a box as stated which would of protected the tool against accidental damage1

For working on short lengths of rough log/branch etc. this Centre Finder is ideal. No branch piece is perfectly round. Finding the centre of the lengths of wood, to fit into the lathe's head and tailstock is now a doddle. This is a substantial tool and not a lightweight. Well worth the asking price.

Very heavy, would have been better in brass.

I don't use this very often but it is very nicely made and it's a pleasure to hold.

excellant, just what I wanted. the only downside was the misleading 'supplied in a box' Yes it came in a box but it was a cardboard box. Now I have to find something substantial to keep it protected from the elements.
