Had a little wait to receive it but expected that as it was a pre-order.A lovely book, well illustrated, easy to follow and inspirational, and the designs are superb. I particularly like that the animals have full size patterns with simple carving and painting instructions so you can learn as you go if you need to. When it's done, it will be an heirloom to treasure.Having recently retired, this is a project I can't wait to start on (when the decorating is finished, apparently)!.

Comes with full size plans in awallet at the rear of the book for the ark itslef. Animal plans are printed in the book. Author used a split technique for a lot of them which is a bit disappointing as if you don't want to paint the animals, which I don't, I like wood to look like wood, you end up with visible joints. The smaller animals are fairly easy to carve though, I already did a little penguin and I love him :)

Lovely book. Lots of great ideas. Instructions look easy to follow. Purchased as a present so they haven't used it yet.

The book is well presented and contains all the information that is needed to build an excellent toy ark and animals.
