works better than expected

This trolley is a huge improvement over my previous cart. I had a sit on top cart that required strapping the kayak tightly to it so it would remain under the yak. Pain in the butt to wrestle with each time I wanted to use the yak (it's a 70 lb. yak, not easy to handle by yourself). This cart has vertical poles that slide through the scupper drain holes of the yak. This holds the cart to the yak, no straps needed! The poles adjust wide to narrow to fit any distance between holes. I even leave the yak on the cart when I'm done for the day, that way it's ready to go. My one concern is that the cart is made with lightweight plastic parts ( the frame is aluminum but the fasteners are plastic). Durability? I'll see later, I guess.

Wouldn't recommend to anyone with large fishing kayak but would work great with a small one.

Pros - it is light weight, super easy to put together and take with you while kayaking.It makes carrying a kayak so easy that even my young kids can now take their own kayaks to the lake.Cons - I wish there was a way to better secure the arms in place. The knobs used to secure them in place are made of plastic and if you get them too tight they will break. Its kind of hard to put the arms through the kayak holes when they are floppimg around and the whole kayak carrier gets all twisted.Also, the wheels could have been set further appart to provide better stability when the terrain is rough.But all in all... when you get it all set and the terrain isnt awful... it works great.Despite of some negatives I will probably buy it again.

The cart trolley was missing a bolt on one side so I could not tighten the cart. I even secured it with some rope to keep it in place and it skated all over the place. The cart looks better than it is. Sorry, I wish it worked for me....I still need a cart.*Update, the seller quickly and efficiently solved the problem to my complete satisfaction! The knobs to tighten down don't do the trick. I had to screw in self drilling screws to keep it from moving around. Other than that it works great

I have a Riot Mako 12' kayak. I originally bought a recommended kayak cart, but I could never get the kayak to stay on the cart. The simplicity of placing the kayak onto this carts "poles" is perfect. I was skeptical at first thinking the poles were not strong enough to transport the kayak, but they are! It is so easy now! Thank you for a great product!
