Great lightbulbs to put in bedroom side table lamps (especially if you can use an overhead light for a regular lightbulb). At night, I turn on my side table lamp with the red bulb to give just enough light to move around and maybe read a bit. The bulbs arent really bright enough for reading if you have bad eyesight, but the color helps mellow out the room and makes my brain slow down a bit before bed. It has definitely helped me ease into bed time.

These are great. I feel like they’re reasonably priced for what they are. They’re bright but not in a bad way. These are also great for when you’re waking up with a newborn or child and need to see but don’t want to disturb anyone’s sleep or melatonin production.

I don’t know if this is placebo or it has had effect. The reason for purchasing this was to help my baby differentiate between day and night, so he starts sleeping through the night. By 2 and half a months, he had started sleeping atleast 5hrs at stretch and now sleeps through the night. All we did was once the day light had ended, I would stay with him in the room with red light ( no bright lights). This is also supposed to help with melatonin release. I believe it has worked for both me and my son

I have tried various products from Hooga and this is another great one! I put the red light near my bed to use to read before going to sleep, and I love that it’s a soft, blue-light-free hue that doesn’t negatively impact my sleep.

The red light is a nice calming hue but unfortunately it’s not functional for our dimming nightstand lights. I will keep searching because the level of light it needs to be steady is brighter than I wanted

I bought this 2 pack for my bedroom but the light is much darker than I expected. If I have just 1 red light lamp on it is difficult to see much. I have been using 2 red light lamps and leaving a bathroom light on in order to see well.
