I originally discovered this gel in Italy whilst on a skiing holiday. I’ve suffered with mouth ulcers most of my life and unfortunately I had a break out during my trip. I found the gel really effective. In fact the best over the counter treatment Ive ever used. I bought more bottle for future use. I was delighted to learn that I could eventually buy this gel from Amazon which takes a while to arrive I assume due to the fact it’s not produced in the UK so if you’re looking for a quick fix once a break out has occurred it might be difficult for you. In terms of the gel itself it comes with an applicator and is easily applied. Once the gel comes into contact with saliva in your mouth it forms a white paste which then works to cure the ulcer and give you instant pain relief. It does sting for about 10 seconds on application. Work through that and you’ll be very happy with the result. I’ve found that if I feel an ulcer coming on I apply the gel and it’s often caused the ulcer to go away at that early stage. You can go to sleep with the gel on and then easily peel it off the next morning. If there’s a down side it’s that the gel isn’t quite as effective at staying in place in your tongue but in soft tissue in the mouth very good. Once opened the gel can become a bit thicker but still seems to work really well. It’s been an absolute godsend for me in being able to continue at work, or enjoy a holiday. I fully recommend that you give it a go. I now always order 2 bottles at the same time if I can. 1 tip is that since Ive switched to sulphate free toothpaste this has really reduced outbreaks of mouth ulcers so with that change and the gel when needed Im now in a much better place with this awful condition.

While the first few moments after application are extremely uncomfortable, the relief that follows is lasting and worth the discomfort. The taste is medicinal and unpleasant, but doesn't linger once the applied medication cures. The analgesic relief is long lived and effective with the coating easily staying put whilst eating and drinking, offering protection that lasts. The price point is high for the amount of product received, however, I will absolutely purchase again should the need arise as the relief offered is worth the cost.

This is the best product I have ever found for mouth ulcers, hands down. It's even better than Bonjela Gel. I used to use a similar product from Bonjela that worked exactly like this one, but I can't seem to find it online anymore. Thankfully, this URGO Mouth Ulcer Gel works just as well. The most incredible thing about it is that it creates a plaster-like film over the ulcer. This barrier is a complete game-changer because it allows you to eat and drink as normal without the excruciating pain. Normally, mouth ulcers burn just from your own saliva, and this product provides instant relief. The film it creates acts as a protective shield, so that constant, irritating burn is gone. On top of all of this, I've found that it helps the ulcers heal much, much quicker than anything else I've tried. Seriously, this is the best product ever. I highly recommend it to anyone who suffers from painful mouth ulcers.

I suffer from ulcers regularly and this has been great for pain relief. When applied the product does sting for a few seconds but after that works as a barrier meaning I can eat or drink as normal. It doesn’t have a strong or unpleasant taste. Great effectiveness, although on the expensive side I find it good value as you only need a little bit and it actually gives you relief unlike other products.

Why so wonderful? Well, it's more a thick liquid than gel. A small applicator is attached to the cap, so it's just a matter of taking the applicator out of the bottle and applying a small amount to the ulcer. No messy fingers, no waste. Just one quick and simple dab on the lip. Then, after about twenty seconds you'll find that it turns opaque and creates a film, or mask, over the ulcer. Depending on what you eat and drink, the mask will stay there for quite a while. One application lasted six hours. A mild setting on application, but nothing to write home about, an ulcer exposes the nerve endings, after all. Other products really hurt! Taste is non-existent, as you keep you mouth open until it dries. As for value for money, worth every bit. I'd pay more!....this is a major must-have. I'll never buy Bon**** again, and that's saying a lot!

The product didn’t work as expected. It doesn’t eliminate the ulcer instantly. I’ve previously used mineral acid–based medications from Turkey that come in cotton pads, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find them on Amazon or in any UK shop. Those treatments contain strong acids that stop the pain instantly and permanently. In contrast, this product actually made my ulcer worse and deeper than before. It forms a waxy film that fades quickly and doesn’t resolve the ulcer problem.

Bisher das beste Mittel, das ich gegen Aphten hatte. Haftet gut - auch über Nacht. Brennt zwar kurz nach dem Auftragen etwas, lindert dafür aber länger als andere Mittelchen. Finde, dass Aphten damit auch schneller heilen.

il migliore prodotto in gel per lenire il bruciore di quelle maledette fastidiose afte. Peccato che nei negozi sia ormai irreperibile, son contenta di essere riuscita a trovarlo almeno online, anche se il prezzo è maggiorato. Lo consiglio!

Mi esposa ha estado sufriendo de úlceras en la boca durante muchos años. Ella probó este producto, tan pronto como el producto se pone en las úlceras de la boca una sensación de ardor entonces nada y las úlceras de la boca desaparecen.

Absolut empfehlenswert, ich hatte an der Unterlippe Innenseite seit mehreren Wochen eine Blase (wahrscheinlich stressbedingt), ging einfach nicht weg. Dann bin ich auf dieses Mittel gestoßen, hab es gut 5 Tage 3-4 mal täglich aufgetragen und die Blase ist tatsächlich weggegangen. Wirkung ist wie beschrieben 🙏🏼 ich schreibe nicht oft Rezessionen, aber hier halt das Mittel,was es verspricht.
