There is one point I want an honest opinion about: are the bottonson the edge (volume key and on/off keys) really hard to press and not smooth?

The buttons are made of hard plastic, definitely harder to press than the S22 Ultra version of this case. Not a deal breaker, just sometimes is hard to get screen shots on the first go. The case is very nice and it feels better than the previous version, very happy with this product.

I have two questions: 1. does this case have a magnetic lock? 2. if i use one credit card in the pocket and the ef-us918ctegus protector is installed

No magnetic lock. but the case has some sort of magnet embedded as the screen is aware when you have it open or closed. Not sure what you mean on part 2
