I’m so glad I purchased this. It’s thick and very soothing for chapped lips. I tend to lick my lips a lot, unfortunately, but this lip mask provides a great moisture barrier. I use it every night, and often during the day, in a thinner layer. It’s not as sticky as Vaseline, and doesn’t have the weird fatty taste that Vaseline has. I’ll definitely keep purchasing it.

Very hydrating. I use this every night and have healed my lips from using hyaluronic acid on my lips. I wake up and my lips are still moist. Be careful with hyaluronic acid in the winter or in a dry climate. It will pull moisture out of your skin if there isn’t any moisture in the air. Always top hyaluronic acid with a water based toner after you use on dry skin and then apply a water mist like Evian or a water based toner after to keep skin plump and hydrated otherwise it will dry out your skin. It made my lips look terrible.

I don’t think I have ever used a lip mask like to before, but I am definitely glad I picked it up. Smooths on nicely, leaves my lips feeling soft and appreciated… doesn’t instantly heal a small cut, but nothing does. This is more of a softens the edges of dehydrated lips, and leaves them looking spoiled and cared about.

I have a terrible problem with dry lips, which gets even worse in the winter. I tried different balms, oils, masks and even just Vaseline for overnight treatment, but nothing worked. I've been using elf products since their inception. I like a lot of there stuff, so when I saw this stuff for a reasonable price I decided to try it. I'm very pleased with the results so far. There's no flavor, no scent I can really identify. Feels nice and yesterday I caught myself in the mirror and saw my lips. I didn't feel the usual chapped feeling and my lips didn't have any lose skin dry bits. The spatula is cute, but I feel like it's designed so people use more product than they actually need to keep people ordering regularly. I just put a layer on my finger, which has been more than enough product to get results. Highly recommend

Honestly I don't know if I really needed this but I wanted it lol and surprisingly I love it. Typically I use a balm at night but I find myself replying it. Not with this! I put it on at bedtime and I'm good to go till morning. Fantastic. Not overly scented or gummy. Love the spatula! Definitely will be buying again when I run out but it looks like it may take a while. Yay me!

So I'll be honest, I didn't skim through all the product details and reviews before purchasing, because so many people like this product. However, I bet there a lot of people that don't like it for the specific reasons I will list. I know people say you get a lot for your money, but it's such a soft product you can end up accidentally taking too much out of the jar. You have to keep track of the spatula, and it really doesn't seem to do much or last very long on the lips. I had originally purchased the kiehl's butter mask for lips and was putting it on at bedtime. The kiehls is very solid, and you really rub your finger in before applying it to the lips. So I guess I was expecting something like that with this tub. I dipped the spatula in the first time, and boy it's soft. In addition if you are a super natural person, I really don't think it's helpful that it has food coloring and a tiny bit of a scent. There's really not necessity for either of those things. I know people say it's a great price, but I have a feeling the kiehls is going to last me about four times as long since it's a solid product. I think if you really wanted a product like this, it's probably better to purchase aquaphor and it does a better job. Another great product from elf! I put this on my chapped lips and within a couple hours they were so much softer and smoother and starting to heal up so well. The pot is a bit small but I noticed right away that only a small amount needs to be applied, it really goes a long way. The smell is somewhat floral and smells similar to the face wash and face cream in the Holy Hydration line...reminds me a bit of the smell of Nivea cream. I would prefer a softer scent or none at all but it is worth dealing with for the effectiveness of the product. I also find it stays on a long time, no need for constant reapplying. I do wish it came in packaging that didn't require using the little included spatula or a finger to apply. I like using a small amount with a lip brush just before I start to apply my makeup, and by the time I get to the last part of my makeup application (lips), my lips are moisturized and soft. If you prefer, this would be an amazing lip mask to wear overnight! I will repurchase this for sure. Highly recommend! Well done elf!
