The smell is pleasant & nice, I like most of ingredients are natural:- Citronella is often used to repel cockroaches, ticks, ants, wasps, bees, moths, flies, and gnats.- Lemongrass oil is a great repelling oil for fleas. The scent is very unpleasant for fleas- but for us it smells great!- Clove oil contains a natural insecticide component which is known as eugenol. Eugenol is an element that can easily kill fleas on contact is an alternative so it's “green” product to use to prevent fleas if use with a small portion.I don't want to cut off the extra on the collar, I can snug it in as it has more effect on my dogs.Price is reasonable & competitive, this product is a must have for dog owners in the flea & tick season.

I had at least expected fleas to move away from the collar to my dog’s rear and tail, but 3 days after putting the collar on there were fleas no his head and even under the collar. I don’t see the slightest results from this product. He’s a small dog and the infestation was very minimal, but I found this collar completely ineffective and a waste of money.

Flea and Tick Collar for DogWe noticed a drop in the number of ticks our dogs were attracting once we applied these collars to them. Our dogs still attracted the parasites, just to a lesser degree.I feel that the liquid tick repellent one applies to the dogs skin once per month seems to be more effective.Probably best to use both in conjunction.They came in a nice reusable metal tin.3.5 stars.Explaining my rating system:5 - a superior product - I would recommend4 - above average – a great choice3 - average – what one might generally expect2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative1- horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible

I take my dog into the fields and woods. So far no bugs..... We are on the 2nd collar.

Very expensive for no results

We’ve had this collar on our dog for a few weeks and it is not working. She has ticks crawling all over her. I wish we would’ve went with a different collar. We tried to do natural ingredients but we will be going to a Bravecto collar. Wish we would’ve just spent the money on a Bravecto collar in the first place! Don’t waste your money on this!

I have 3 large mutts who love to go into tall grass, bushes, etc. So far the collars seem to work, as I haven't had to detach a tick yet. That a product of this type works is, I think, the most important bit.

Don't be dumb and desperate like I was. I thought well if it works for just a couple months , that'll buy me some time to get the seresto collars. No. This crap lasted 1 month. And ticks still crawled on and attached themselves to my bigger dog. I started getting ate up at night by fleas after the first month. Never again. If I have to deal with fleas anyway, I'll just hold out and splurge on the seresto collars after saving for a couple months.
