Excellent addition
I bought this to put in a very large birds of paradise plant. it really looks amazing at night. I love that there are three light tones to choose from white golden and then like a bluish tone you can also set a timer and dim the lights. I felt like for the price I paid. There were a lot of options available for this lighting.

USB powered lights
Paired this with a pocket USB power bank and works great. Small light about the side of a 8oz soda.

nice spot
love the fact that it operates on 5 VDC. Hate the fact that it can be turned on ONLY with the built inline cord controller. I had hoped to place it in an out of the way position, set the color I desired then turn it on and off remotely. This will not work. I have two different style of remote switching, a current wifi based system and an older system based on X-10 using radio frequency across house wiring. Neither system will work with this lamp. I guess I will have to fine another use for it.

Great spot light but buyer beware
I wanted light to put behind a plant in a dark corner. I was going to buy a light and then add timer. I saw this product had a timer included. You can choose 3-9-12 hours to automatically turn on and off at time of day you choose. Super easy directions. It also has 3 different light values starting at bright white and two warmer colors. For the price it packs a lot of options.UPDATEI loved this light and one day it just stopped working. It is inside my pet free home in a corner. It worked for 4 months. I am past the 30 day return policy so I have no recourse. I loved this light so i am willing to pay again for another one. So buyer beware light may not work for long term.

The first light I bought has quit working. Received the second one yesterday.
I bought 2, separate times. First one for my pictures on the wall, the second one for a plant in the corner. The first one has already quit working. Was working today, then just a few minutes ago, it no longer will come on.
