Dreadful quality - This item isn't eligible for return!!
The network cable that arrives looked like it was a snake that had swallowed a large meal. The cable has a large bulge in it, about 30cm long part way down. The cable should be of uniform size and shape for the whole length of the cable. I thought, no problem, I'll return it for a replacement, but no... This item isn't eligible for a return!! I know its only a fiver but that's not the point. Faulty item, no way to return and I'm out of pocket for the privilege. Avoid at all costs.

Not fit for purpose
This cable is of very poor quality. I noted a part of the cable outer was swollen and distorted and the inner wires can be felt against this distorted outer. Other have reported similar. When plugged in between my BT broadband unit and the hub the signal is heavily attenuated and there is a marked deteroration of the wifi. It is not fit for purpose

Fantastic cables!
If you're keeping up with my reviews, you will have seen the bunch of reviews I've done recently for all sorts of things regarding a row of five wall-mounted IKEA cabinets. One of my grand plans for these cabinets was to place my WiFi router above them, which not only hid it out of sight but also could potentially increase its range to that it could reach the rear of my house.Of course, there were a couple of complications. I use my Virgin Media Superhub in its modem only mode, and it lives in a cupboard in the living room next to my NAS box, which was previously connected to the WIFI router via a short ethernet cable. With the router now being a good four metres horizontally and two metres vertically away from the NAS box and Superhub, I was going to need a pair of long (and specifically black for aesthetics) Ethernet cables to get everything connected. This, of course, led me on an Amazon search, where I found these awesome looking 1aTTack cables, so I bought a couple of 10 metre ones so that I'd have some spare just in case!And... Well... They're great! They have really nice metal connectors on them and are shielded from interference from other devices, which is a good thing as they're running behind my TV bench which has all sorts of gadgetry in it. Other than that, my internet speeds remain quick over WiFi and everything is working as expected - and, yes, it is now reaching the back of the house, hooray!Top cables!

Works @gigabit standard.
Great Value for money, tried the Network cable on various devices at home. getting gigabit transfer speeds between PC and NAS drive through the home network. And then tried the Cable on a CCTV POE 4mp Camera and the picture was excellent with no degradation or losses. I will be buying more of this type for the CCTV POE system.

Nice Cable!
Most people don't actually need a Cat6 cable, since it is good for 10 gigabits per second, but for the past few years I have been buying the cables as standard since the price is almost the same as Cat5e, which are good for 1 gigabit per second. I guess maybe at some stage 10 gb/s will because the standard but I don't know because 1 gb/s has lasted a very long time! Anyway, getting back to the point, these seem like good cables.

The cable does exactly what I wanted it to do
I ordered a 15foot cat 6 cable because I was using a very cheap cat 5 cable which done the job but I wanted a cable that was of much higher quality. This cable does exactly what I wanted it for and it improved my internet speed slightly. I am on 140Mb/s internet and Cat5e is only rated for 100Mb/s which works with what I have but it gave a higher ping rate and my internet felt slightly sluggish with the cat5e cable. With the Cat6 cable I that slugishness is gone. I will have to buy the 7.5M cable though because what I got isn't quite long enough for where I want to move my computer to.

Be gone with you weak hifi signal - Be gone I say!
I ran this cable from my router up the side of the house. behind a drain down pipe and affixed it with quality cable ties, then in through my boys bedroom where I drilled a whole into the upstairs corridor wall. Since then I have had some health issues, so as yet I have not run it under the floor boards instead it is strung up over the beroom door, it then meanders into my office and inserts itself into my PC. Works perfectly!

Still going strong
Bought these to go behind my media cabinet and into an 8 port switch. Not a particularly taxing job for them, and once in place they don't go anywhere. But, they worked exactly as they should and I got full gigabit line speed with them on all connected devices. Quality is great, and the fact that they are black and red obviously had nothing to do with my purchase decision...maybe... ;)
