BRIMAX E14 LED Candle Bulbs Dimmable 4W, 40W Equivalent, Soft Warm White 2700K, 400lm, Small Edison Screw SES Chandelier Bulbs, C35 Vintage Filament Energy Saving Candelabra Bulb, 5Pack

Our dining room was previously lit by a central light fitting with 8 x 25w dimmable incandescent (clear glass) light bulbs. Paradoxically we found that the light given off was both dazzling and not bright enough for the size of the room - as a result spending any amount of time there was tiring on the eyes.We replaced the 8 bulb light fitting with a 14 bulb crystal chandelier and fitted it with 14 of these 4w (40w equivalent) Brimax dimmable warm white (2700K) clear filament candle bulbs. At the same time we changed the dimmer switch to a Varilight LED dimmer (the dimmer was rated for 26 LEDs max and between 15w - 220w).The result is FABULOUS!The light given off by these bulbs has a lovely warm tone (slightly whiter than the incandescents but with no harshness at all). The fitting filled the room with light and these LED bulbs caused the crystal to sparkle beautifully. Interestingly, despite the brightness of each bulb being 60% greater than the original 25w incandescents - they were't dazzling and because there were now 14 x 40W equivalent - the room was filled with a really nice light.These bulbs dim very precisely - with no flickering at all - right down till the filaments barely glow. It's difficult trying to photograph lights - but I've posted my best attempt with a montage of 3 photos showing different levels of brightness.The bulbs look well made but have only been up a day so I can't comment on bulb life - but would have no hesitation in recommending them based on the quality of the light they give off. I'll certainly be purchasing more to put in other light fittings in the house.

Have only just received these filament light bulbs so can’t comment on durability. They look very smart and instantly give out so much more light than the fluorescent energy saving bulbs that they have replaced. No more waiting for two or three minutes until the light gradually brightens up. So far 10/10 however I will repost after six months to report on whether they are all still working. I chose these ones because they are guaranteed for 24 months. I’m not using them with a dimmer so can’t comment on that aspect of the bulbs. They don’t flicker or make any noise. (some people have commented that bulbs flicker/make a distracting noise)It is now October 2020. Very happy to say that all the bulbs are still working well. I haven’t had to replace a single bulb.

Great light output and seem light decent quality. However, not compatible with my dimmer switch (brand new vPro) which flickers and refuses to dim them to low levels. Replaced with Philips bulbs that worked fine but have issues of their own. Don't be put off though as LED dimming is problematic in general. The light spread is good, price is good, and delivery was very quick. Now use them in non-dimmable applications around the house.

These 6W bulbs are noticeably brighter than my previous 4W 360lm bulbs. 5 bulbs in an overhead fixture give enough light to work at a table, and with a dimmer can be dimmed slightly for eating.The efficiency of 100lm/W (600lm, 6W) is quite good for specialist shaped bulbs.They do dim well with my Varilight V-Pro, but strangely only in mode 2, which is leading edge mode. With mode 1, trailing edge, normally recommended for LED lights, the bulbs flickered and flashed and were horrible. So if you have a Varilight V-Pro read the iinstructions carefully and try the different driving modes.They have 4 filaments inside each bulb.They are a warm white colour, which is just fine in my house. They don't get yellower as they dim. When they are at full brightness they are too bright to directly stare for a long time at from a distance of 2m - but do not need a shade; a chandelier type fixture is fine.They won't match cool white / blue white bulbs, so decide on a colour temperature for your room and don't mix them.It is too soon to tell how long they will last. It should be a long time.

Bulbs looked good and great brightness and decent value BUT 1 has failed already after 5-6 months so unfortunately cannot fully recommend due to the short lifespan or poor quality. Seller has offered to replace so perhaps under warranty its worth buying? Shall see how long the replacement bulbs last and report back.

I decided to go onto led bulbs when my incandescent lights started going, the filament breaks and the bulb goes out and that's it. There are so many on the market and it is a nightmare deciding which make, style and fitting to go for.Last year I had purchased some outside industrial type string led lights and was impressed by their quality.Looking at indoor replacement led bulbs, I found the same make as I had purchased for outside. Brimax.I had tried various dimmable led bulbs in my 5, 3 and 2 bulb fittings but could not get them to fully and correctly dim. I wanted them to go from off then slowly increase to full on. I also tried different led dimmers.Not all led dimmers are compatible with dimmable led bulbs and vice versa. Also consider bulb cost.The camera does not do the end result full justice but the picture on the left shows the dimmest light and the last one on the right shows the brightest light. These are only rated at 4 watts each but it is enough for the landing light. You don't want a bright light when you get out of bed in the middle of the night.I found that a combination of Brimax dimmable bulbs with a Varilight led dimmer to be a good partnership. There are other makes out there but like me you would have to do the trial and error bit first.I have found a good partnership and I will stick with it.

Updated review.On reflection the poor customer service was from the mighty Amazon not the seller.This seller contacted me and offered advice on bulbs... and a full refund. Highly creditable.None of the bulbs worked when they were tried and refund refused - by Amazon. Flickered and not dimmable.

The units have only just arrived and not yet used. Cannot therefore comment as to the 'life' the brightness or the longevity, but am ever hopeful they will prove to be as good as the service provided in their despatch and delivery.

Fantásticas bombillas, son estupendas para las lámparas de cristal, ya que el color cálido, hace que el cristal de swarovski brille igual o mejor que con las bombillas incandescentes, pero con un mínimo consumo.

Bjr, achat reçu dans les délais prévus, toutes les ampoules fonctionnent parfaitement, la luminosité correspond à ce que je recherchait à savoir, une lumière blanche mais légèrement chaude, je note malgré tout une infime latence à l’allumage d’une seconde, mais totalement négligeable, j’ai aussi eu l’agréable surprise de les voir fonctionner sur mon lustre 5 ampoules gérer à partir de un variateur lambda de chez Leroy Merlin, car au vu de ce qui était noté par le vendeur, il fallait un certain type de variateur pour le faire fonctionner, donc au final économie d’un variateur, pour un contentement maximum, quant à la longévité, mon recul n’est que de 1 mois, donc je croise les doigts pour que cela dure.

Resa luminosa veramente ottima, non mi aspettavo una luminosità del genere, altre lampadine allo stesso livello rendono meno. La tonalità è perfetta soprattutto quando si dimmera (ne ho provate molte qui su amazon e queste come dimmer, almeno per il mio, sono le migliori !) Nessun sfarfallio e intensità veramente molto regolabile (sempre paragonandola ai precedenti acquisti), qualità costruttiva e dell'imballaggio veramente ottima !!! Speriamo che la durata sia veramente quella dichiarata, nel caso sicuramente ne acquisterò altre! Le consiglio vivamente, non mi aspettavo un complesso generale di questo livello !

Have been looking for these bulbs that are dimmable for a long time. I am very happy
