Excelent Beginner and Novice drone!
First time flying a drone, took it easy in the house. Hit the wall a number of times and this thing kept on going! Day two I took it out to the yard and crashed it there as well! Took a video of my roof to see if there was any damage from a storm. Day three is the pic you see. I am really impressed with the ease of piloting, the app is nice as well. It is very light so you can't really fly it on a windy day. It comes with two batteries that I would charge before flying. The only drawback is the lack of written instructions. The video instructions are short and quick, and there are many of them. I would definitely recommend this to someone with no previous experience, mainly because of how quickly I was able to pick it up.

Out of control as soon as it took off.
Took off and immediately flew off at speed until it hit something (several times). Survived the crashes quite well so seems quite tough! Land and reverse controls did not work. Obviously faulty. Instructions are terrible. Nothing about how to use the camera. Nothing about how to trim it. Presumably the four arrow buttons on the controller. Didn't have time to try any of the app functions before it crashed so I can't say if they work although there was a view from the camera showing. There is no website listed for support or better documentation. It looks as though it could work OK but I had no way of finding out.

Disappointing
This drone does not work well at all, I calibrated it exactly as in the video and in the instructions and it does not seem to work well at all.The camera is terrible, it doesn't record audio and it jams and the battery doesn't last as long as it promises. The truth is, I think it's not worth it. I just have it, there is a save. And another bad point goes sideways and does not obey the remote control I wanted to try it on a lake because I went for a walk with the family, but if I had driven it into the water I'm almost sure I would be left without a drone. They're going to tell me that for $50 I'm demanding but that's not it.If not, almost most of the time it is not what they promise in the description, in the photos it looks somewhat decent but when it is in your hands it is a different reality.

Needs better instructions but once you learn, not to shabby of a drone. Be mindful of outside use. It's small and wind plays a factor in operation.

Has a maximum range of ~15', camera is NOT 4K. It is standard def 480i.
I've wanted to get into drones for a while, just don't have the requisite bank account for it. I wanted to know what its like to fly around in first person. Someday I'll find out. In the meantime, I purchased this as my first drone. It is not hard to get going out of the box. Easy assembly. Figured out how lift off and had a heck of a time adjusting to stay in one place when not being actively controlled. Got it there, tested it inside. It was not as easy to steer as you would think. I would've set up the controls in a different way, were it possible. I found that I had to constantly readjust the trim to remain stationary, and each adjustment lasted maybe 5-7 minutes before drifting again. Stinks, but not a deal breaker for a first drone. And then I took it outside...Once outside, I quickly learned that the range is tiny. 15-20 feet max in any direction. I wanted to skim my roof, went straight up vertically and suddenly the screen view was all over the place. Looked up and saw the drone bobbing and weaving all over the place, nearly uncontrollably, as each of the 4 motors took turns stopping and restarting. Dropped the altitude to within that 15-ish feet, bobbing stopped. Up over that threshold, all over the place again. Maybe it's just aerodynamics? Nope.At a steady 6 feet altitude, once it got past that 15 feet, same thing happened in all directions as well. Ok, so to make this work, I have to walk around and stay with that 15 bubble and keep an eye on the screen OR keep an eye on where I'm walking. Can't do both, though. I'm not that talented. The camera resolution was bad, stuttery, just not a good experience. I found a single good purpose for this thing, though. Working outside, sweating, this thing would stay above me for a while acting like a fan to cool me off some. That was actually really nice, but not worth the price. I'll keep looking for something decent that won't break the bank too badly.

Great Drone!!
The media could not be loaded. Man this drone is actually pretty good for the price you pay its worth it, it comes with everything you need, its easy to use and its flies smoothly, I like that you can connect it to your phone, its provides instructions on how to set it up, overall its a good drone for beginners and experienced users!

You get what you pay for
The drone seemed ok at first but at the end of my first (and only) flying session the drone bumped into a structure and I have not been able to re-calibrate it since then. There doesn't seem to be any surficial damage and the wing doesn't seem bent at all, but the drone drifts sideways any time I try to fly it. The instructions are also a bit frustrating to follow and the phone app leaves a lot to be desired. Very disappointing for my first drone experience.

Amazing amount of fun for the price!
I wasn’t expecting it to work this well, but it flies great, has a surprisingly good battery life, and actually has a functional obstacle avoidance feature.Definitely don’t expect DJI quality for this price, but you’re getting way more than what you pay for.Highly recommend.

Great drone
This drone is excellent. We bought it for my 8 year old’s birthday present. It flies smoothly and is easy for anyone to control. My kids have been playing with it since they got it. You can’t ask for a better drone for this price.

Do NOT buy this thing
At first, it was fun to play with that drone. but on the very first day I began to notice strangeness in the controls. I thought that this was due to the wind and therefore didn't pay attention. the next day, in calm weather, everything happened again and the drone simply couldn't hover in the air and flew in its own direction, so you always have to direct it. so, there's just no declared function of the drone hovering in the air!! Today a drone committed suicide by drowning in a lake! I could attribute the uncontrollability to the wind, but there was no wind as such, very very weak, which, according to the stated characteristics, should not affect control. after a couple of meters, the drone stopped listening to me and flew further and further, although the distance didn't exceed the stated 60 m. THE DRONE DIED NOT THROUGH MY FAULT!! I JUST WASTED MONEY! I don't recommend anyone to buy it. one star until the drone is replaced.

Plenty of value in this drone, but not the easiest beginner drone I have tried
The media could not be loaded. What's included:- TizzyToy drone featuring 4K images and 1080p video- Instruction manual- Accessories including propeller guards, extra control sticks, propellers, screwdriver, 2 batteries etcThe TizzyToy beginner drone is one that offers plenty of value for this price point, but it's not the easiest beginner drone that I have tried or reviewed. The drone comes in a nice carrying case filled with several accessories including extra propellers, two batteries, propeller guards, two sets of control sticks, a screwdriver and more all packed nicely away into a foam padded backdrop. The drone itself is one that is less than the 250gram threshold set by Transport Canada for licensing requirements, so you can basically get started with this as soon as it arrives.CONTROLLERThe controller is what I refer to as a typical drone controller, featuring a two stick setup. The controller requires you to provide 3AAA batteries which are not provided. Like many drone controllers this controller needs to be paired with the drone and controls the drone's various movements. I particularly like the fact that this drone has buttons including a one button take off and landing for added convenience. The controller is small enough to easily fit in your hand, and is made entirely of plastic. It doesn't have a premium feel but it doesn't have that really cheap plasticky feel. The phone holder does a better than expected job at locking in your phone horizontally. There is no hard wire running from your phone to the controller like you find with some drones.I find the controller easy to use and if you have experience flying other drones you will likely find the same.OBSTACLE AVOIDANCEWhile the drone has a number of interesting and entertaining features, I won't talk about all, but I will focus on the obstacle avoidance mechanism which is what compelled me to review this drone. To find an obstacle avoidance system on a drone in this price class is something rather unusual in my opinion, and to be honest, it worked a little better than expected given my low expectations. The obstacle avoidance mechanism needs to be manually plugged into the drone before you and use it. Once plugged in, the drone will have the ability to warn you of if you get to close to a wall or a building. The system has several sensors and as you approach an object such as a wall, the drone will start beeping if you have the obstacle avoidance system turned on (which is executed through the click of a single button on the controller).I was impressed with how well this system worked indoors but it is far less effective outdoors. Inside a controlled environment such as a home, if the drone gets too close to a wall (approximately 30cm) it will begin beeping and even push the drone back before the wall is hit, however, if you push the drone to continue towards that wall your going to hit it.Outdoors the performance of the system was much less effective. In several attempts I managed to crash (deliberately) into trees in my backyard without setting off the mechanism's warning signals. Only once did it effectively detects a tree trunk and stopped me from hitting it.If I was to grade the obstacle avoidance I would probably give it a letter grade of B- indoors and a D outdoors - but just having it on a introductory drone is quite satisfying, and besides, you don't have to use it at all if you don't want to.BATTERIESThe done comes with two batteries which need to be charged. The batteries charge in a couple of hours from near nothing which is par for the course. The batteries are rated as 1200mAh each and provide relatively good flight times. Of course adding the guards weighs the drone down by just a little but each gram you add makes a difference in battery life as the drone must work harder. The flight times that I was able to achieve were not as much as the stated times in the Amazon listing but the flight times were certainly reasonable.ACCESSORIESOne of the accessories that I want to touch upon are the propeller guards. The guards are optional, and as you get better at using the drone, you can take them off (of course you dont have to put them on in the first place). This optionality is something that I really enjoy about this drone because when I am not actually testing the drone to check out claims made, I actually just want to zip around with it, and so removing the drones is great.WIND PERFORMANCEThe performance of this drone in any kind of light breeze can be challenging just as it is with other small micro drones.I found this drone to handle a light wind ok, but not great. It did a better job than my Tello however. Just be warned if you take this drone outdoors on a windy day, its going to be super hard to control it.PICTURES AND VIDEOSWhile I haven't touched on some of the tricks etc you can do with the drone, I do want to touch upon the video and image quality. While using the drone you can take pictures and they are 4K pictures which I am glad to see. When I compare this with other big name drones, the 4K option with this drone is really useful and nice to see. Some points I would make about the pictures are that they are 4K in nature, when you are taking shots outdoors, 4K starts to look less like 4K from something that is static. The videos on the other hand are NOT 4K. In fact the videos that I have taken are all 1080p. This is not a bad resolution but its not 4K either. Furthermore, the frame rate for the MP4s produced by the drone's camera are about 25 fps which puts these videos on par with a good security camera.EASE OF USEPerhaps the one caution I have about this drone is in the ease of use. This drone while rated for a beginner, and it is, is not nearly as user friendly as a few that I have tried and reviewed. While this drone easily beats those others with respect to value added accessories etc, those other drones that I speak of, are easier to fly and slightly more intuitive. To try to help, the manufacturer has an app which you can pick up for Android or iOS. The app puts all of the various controls infront of you on your phone giving you easy access to switch from video or pics on the fly.Additionally, it is possible to mess up the calibration easier than with other beginner drones which do not have a high degree of sophistication. By messing up the collaboration, the drones controls can become mixed up and disorient your control of the drone. The one benefit of this drone during setup is at least you do not have to spin the drone vertically to coordinate it.FINAL THOUGHTSAlthough I have not touched upon everything, I hope I have touched upon the pertinent points regarding this drone. There are features included that you will discover should you go ahead and purchase this drone. When it comes time for me to decide whether or not to recommend this drone, the answer is pretty clear. I would. There may be a slight learning curve for some but its not a bad beginner's drone from an ease of use perspective - its just not as intuitive as others I have tried. On the other hand, the amount of accessories and the nice carrying bag provided to make a difference and help add value to an otherwise good product.I think if you pick up this drone, depending on your experience it may be slightly challenging at first, but once you get comfortable with the controls, there is enough here for me to certainly recommend this drone.Cheers,

Budget-friendly but not without flaws
The TizzyToy Drone with Camera 4K pleasantly surprised me by offering drone capabilities in a budget-friendly range. However, this drone does come with its share of shortcomings. The controller feels cheap, and the camera quality, despite being advertised as 4K, falls closer to 480p, resulting in grainy images with limited dynamic range.Navigating the different modes in the app proved to be a bit challenging, requiring some trial and error as the drone didn't consistently respond. The susceptibility to damage is another drawback; a soft crash on grass significantly reduced the power output of the rear rotors, leading to decreased speed and poor maneuverability. Despite its initial functionality, the drone lost its appeal after a couple of crashes. While the TizzyToy drone offers numerous features at an affordable price, its durability and overall comfortability are lacking. Although it may be tempting due to its extensive functionality, users should be aware of potential issues with build quality and responsiveness. For casual use and beginners, it may still serve its purpose, but a more durable option might be worth considering for a long-term investment in drone enjoyment.

Not Enjoyable
I own a Mavic mini drone so I know what a $600 drone is like and I know what a small drone is like.I was pretty frustrated trying to figure this drone out. There are instructions but they aren't the best. There is a remote AND there is an app. I had issue with getting them both connected to the drone. The app has to connect to the drone's hotspot network and I had it set to auto connect but it never would. I had to keep manually going into my WIFI settings and connecting to the drone and then back to the app and then make sure the remote was connected to control the drone. With all of that going on it's no wonder that sometimes I would try to unsuccessfully take off and sometimes I would be successful. There was a very slight breeze on the day that I was playing with the drone which made for some control issues if and when I managed to get it in the air.I spent about two hours playing with it and trying to fly it. I read the instructions a couple of times and the diagram images included in the app. I feel like most of my issues were connection related but I'm not sure that there is anything that I can do to rectify it. The camera seemed to work good. There is a $100 price tag on this drone and that's about $100 too much.
