The connection on our original socket has been dodgy since we had it installed - it had to be secured in just the right position or it would not work. I did not realise that things should have been better! Since installing this replacement socket, I no longer have any worries that my rear lights will stop working! It's easy to install as long as you can get at the back and front of your existing socket and don't mind using a small screwdriver. Pro tip: note down which wire goes where before you disconnect the old socket.
