Good product, usually, but when something goes wrong, support is a little tough.
I've purchased this product a few times and everything has been great, however the last one purchased had a bad throttle. The display tells me that with an error 8 code. I had a throttle from one of the previous kits and tried that and everything worked fine. This makes it clear that the throttle is bad. But clearly the agent at Kirmex that I am interfacing with is not reading my messages. They ask for video and offer to accept a return of the whole works. You might think that it's fair enough that they offer a return. But if you properly install and manage the wires of one of these kits, it takes a few hours. So the idea of dismantling it and returning it is insane with just a bad throttle. Eventually, the customer service agent seems to have read my messages and understood that the throttle was bad and agreed to send me a new throttle. Fair enough. The product is generally so good and especially so good at the price, that I gave it a 5 star rating in spite of the initial difficulty getting a good throttle sent to me. I've used this kit on 5 or 6 trikes to convert them and the motor is peppy, the display is nice and the accessories are contemporary and nicer than in an average kit.

Best deal ever
I love this thing. It was really easy to install. I’ve used one very similar for years have 4000 miles on it. Until the rim broke because of a bump in the road. Just great works fabulous.

Stuck freewheel useless product!
After assembling my hub motor kit from Pexmor and installing it on my bike. I noticed the chain kept holding tension and would kick itself off when you stopped pedaling. So after some disassembly, I found the freewheel to be jammed not spinning properly. Of course at this point, I contacted the seller to see if I could get a new part. They responded by asking me to post a YouTube video and send them the URL… Not very good customer service! So instead I’m posting a review so everybody can see what they’re getting themselves into. Also, I purchased a freewheel removal tool but nothing fits over the hub motor axle shaft. So even though I have a working freewheel to use, I cannot separate the two parts.

Nice that it's all in the package, just add battery
Put this kit on a cheap Vevor adult tricycle. Takes a bit of mechanical know-how to get it to work but you have all the parts to do it except a battery kit. A few tips I found the hard way: 1) as another reviewer noted, the instructions are terrible and don't tell you which direction to install the front wheel kit. As you lay the wheel assembly flat with the wire cable sticking up and the word Pexmor visible, the hub will spin clockwise, so that's the right-hand (starboard) side. 2) The kit comes with a torque arm assembly that looks horribly tacky, depends on a thin hose clamp to hold the end of the arm; but I noticed that the hole in the washer end of the kit happened to line up with one on my fork--all I had to do was drill it out slightly and put a bolt in it. Just watch the clearance to the screws in the main hub! 3) Someone else pointed out that the throttle was touchy, and they're right. No easy fix, either, maybe somebody has tried a better twist throttle? Reprogramming the throttle ramp in the controller is beyond us ordinary mortals. It is possible to get away from a stop sign at a sane rate but you must have a delicate touch. Someone else said theirs would do burnouts but mine won't on asphalt, just loose dirt. 4) I'm thinking I bought too big a battery--I've got 15 miles on the first charge and the battery meter still reads full. I got a 48V20AH LIPO, I think a 10AH battery would still be overkill. 5) Instructions again: they say long-press the speed-up button to turn on the headlight BUT DON'T TRY IT! I was standing next to the trike and it nearly ran me over when I did that. The light just comes on when you power the system up with the "M" button.

Quality ebike kit
Have Installed much more expensive "name brand" kits in the past but decided to try this low priced kit on a conversion of an old tricycle. I was impressed from the start. The item was packaged extremely well and survived the trip across the ocean with no issues. The drive wheel is a very heavy duty double walled rim. All other parts appear to be of a quality build. Perhaps what impressed me the most was their written installation booklet complete with pictures. Also, if this is not enough, they have a complete series of installation videos on YouTube. Because of all of this, install went quickly with no back tracking. I completed the conversion, including dressing all the cables and making adjustments, in about 2 hours. Everything worked fine when I turned it on the first time. Would definitely buy again.

Difficult installation
It's probably a decent enough conversion kit, qualitywise, but it hasn't been an easy installation. First, the bicycle that I was going to install it on didn't have disc brakes. So, ended up buying a different bicycle WITH disc brakes. Then, the disc brake's caliper was too thick and rubbed on the wheel, so I had to purchase a thinner caliper. Then, all of the controls that go in the bag and strap under the cross bar wouldn't fit because the new bicycle has a monoshock there. So I have the bag of controls kind of ziptied off to the side. Then, the PAS module is supposed to go between the pedal and the crank. I purchased the crank removal tool but it stripped out the aluminum threads on the bicycle. Now, there isn't any pedal assist, and also there's a vibration in the wheel or motor when operating it. Also, be aware that with a front wheel conversion, it will make the front wheel spin in certain uphill situations, when you don't have enough traction or weight over the front wheel.

1000 watt ebiike DIY kit
Came exactly as described battery bag and controller bag both have no holes in them for the wires to pass through so I had to use my stuff from the previous kit...that however was the only issues I had motor works great as well as the display and the brakes..everything responds as it should and went for a ten mile ride 7had no issues at all. Install is very straight forward and easy to do top speed is about 30 mph and has great power for the hills..Al, in all ...if you have your controller bag from a previous kit then you'll be all set....great seller
