Very accurate, except for urine.
I just received the kit about an hour ago and after some inaccurate strips from another company, I was anxious to put this through the test before I put my trust in it. I first tested on tap water which I was told had a PH of 9 coming from the water plant. This test showed it as an 8. I then tested it on Desani bottled water which is supposed to have a PH of 5. This kit also showed a 5. I then called the city water dept. and was then told although it's at 9 coming from the plant it should be about 8 coming into the house, which is exactly what this kit showed. I'm super happy with these results. I got the kit for my dog since it recently had bladder stone surgery and was told by the vet that he needs a urinalysis occasionally to make sure his medication is keeping his PH levels where they need to be. This will sure be better than driving 15 miles out of town and spending $40 for something I can do at home myself. However, I just discovered that the 100 possible tests with this kit won't be possible since the kit I got expires in 4 months unless I find more things to test just for the fun of it. Update - I came to the conclusion that this method does not work for urine. When I tested it for my dog I came up with a PH of 3, which is ridiculously low. I then tested it on my own urine and got a reading of 4.5, which is also abnormally low. I'm guessing it has to do with the tests being done in the morning before my dog had anything to drink and I had just a half cup of coffee. Early morning urine is always as darker yellow and I'm thinking the color altered to test results and if done in the evening, it probably would have been more accurate since the urine would be more clear. However, it's not something I feel I can trust if there is any color to the liquid being tested.

It works
Is finally a ph test that works. It's clear and easy to read the results, and I love that it comes with a little container to do the test. I tested several different types of water and the colors did change accordingly so it works much better than other tests I've tried.
