ACC-HU-SON1 Plug and Play T-Harness for Select Sony Car Radios

I got the iDatalink Maestro Acc-HU-ALP1 T-Harness to install a new Alpine radio in my car, and I’m really glad I picked it up. I was swapping out my old factory stereo, and this harness made the whole process a lot smoother. It connects the Alpine radio to the iDatalink Maestro system without having to cut or splice any wires, which was a big relief for me since I’m not great with electrical stuff. The install was pretty straightforward. I already had the Maestro module and the vehicle-specific harness for my car, which you need for this to work. It plugged right into my Alpine radio and the other harness, just like it’s supposed to. It took me about 30 minutes to get everything set up, and I didn’t run into any major issues. My steering wheel controls still work perfectly, and I didn’t lose any factory features, which is why I went with iDatalink in the first place. One thing to know is that this harness won’t work on its own. You definitely need the Maestro module and the right vehicle harness, so make sure you have those before buying. Also, double-check that your Alpine radio is compatible. I saw some reviews online saying it didn’t work with certain setups, but it was fine for mine. Overall, this harness saved me a ton of time and hassle. It’s a solid buy if you’re upgrading to an Alpine radio and want to keep your car’s features. Just make sure you have all the right parts first.

Easiest way to install a radio

I bought this for my car's new navigation system install. It fit perfectly and my radio/navigation systems works great. I recommend buying here because these are few and far between.

Just what I needed to retain the factory camera on my 2013 Toyota Venza Limited. DO NOT forget to splice and hook the reverse trigger, purple wire with tag on Kenwood head unit. That’s the only thing you will need to do to get an image when putting on reverse.

If you have the Kenwood DMX1037S, you need the KEN1 adapter plug. It won’t fit inside the stereo plug or from the other side of the provided wiring harness. Sadly, Maestro did not help clarify this, so while their products are awesome, it’s not so customer-friendly. or made clear of compatibility. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning and waiting to get the new one in

How much is your time worth to cut and splice connections? Making pie, not so simple, connecting this was as simple as eating pie.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Perfect fit for the Sony AX4000 radio. Had no issues with the connections from the maestro Kia harness
