This is a faulty product and will be returned. Just a few weeks into using this kettle it started leaking from the front viewing window. The base stand quickly filled with water which went unnoticed as there was no water on the worktop. I would not buy this kettle again.

DO NOT BUY unless you can be sure the leaking indicator problem is fixed.I purchased this kettle mainly because Bosch are generally a good reliable brand. Within a month it was leaking from the fill indicator. I exchanged it for another and this time it leaked worse within 2 weeks so this was no fluke and I hope the product has been withdrawn to fix the issue.

The water tastes like it’s burnt, so am going to give it a few weeks and see if the taste is better, if not shall be returning the kettle

Leaks from water level indicator - returned for a refund (note: less restocking fee, etc.). This could be a one-off but shows poor quality control.

Very noisy. Can't hold a conversation or hear the radio when boiling. The lid doesn't open very far, which is really annoying. Replaced it with a Russell Hobbs Luna Quiet kettle, which is far better all round.

Only criticism I have is that the display is too dark to see the water level. Otherwise, I am sure it will last as long, if not longer, than the white version of the same model l bought several years ago. Good price, well wrapped and prompt service.

This is a geat kettle, good quality, fast boil, easy to clean and looks good on the kitchen unit
