Fantastic book for tech start-ups
Do you have an idea for an app? Or even just something that you see as a problem that could be done better if only you had the right tool? This book provides all the ins and outs as well as great advice on what to think about when starting out with a tech idea and how to make it not only a reality, but also a sound business venture.Additionally, this book is really well presented so it's easy to understand, even if you're not a techie yourself. I personally think that is the greatest strength with this book. We all have tech-related ideas to improve things in the world around us, but most of us won't even begin the process of developing it because the tech side of the venture terrifies us.Ward takes you through the process in a gradual way that really makes it clear and proves it can be easy if you have the right information and are open to finding the right people to help you.

Incredibly useful and actionable!
I really enjoyed this book! I am a photographer who launched a Software as a Service business and not having had any tech background there are lots of elements to launching a tech business that are way out of my comfort zone. This book really helped to fill in gaps in my knowledge to feel much more confident in the decisions I'm making as well as give inspiration on things to do that I had not previously known about. The concept of MVPs and launching in stages rather than as a complete product makes so much more sense and the marketing chapter was particularly useful given that my tech product already exists. The author's writing style is really enjoyable and he does a great job at introducing technical terms in a way that is easy to understand and helps build confidence. I also really loved his approach of ending each chapter with a summary of key points discussed which I find incredibly useful when trying to really learn and instill the concepts. It also means if you need a quick refresher of anything you have easy points in the book to refer back to. All in all it's an extremely well-written and carefully considered book that really has thought about how to help the reader maximise their chances of learning about a subject that can at first seem quite overwhelming if you are non-technical like me! I am already feeling much more confident about how to approach the next stage of development I want my business to undergo!

Great - From ideas to execution.
This is a great book to learn from as well as a "go to" book when one gets stuck or is not sure what to do or when one wants to verify their thinking. I have also purchased the audible version so that I can audio-read during travel etc. What I really appreciate is the logical breakdown of chapters that deal with all issues one encounters when there is an idea in mind. I am still reading it and plan to read it a few times over. I really recommend this book. It is simple yet not basic, it is full of good practical information without the content being terse or verbose. Get it!!

A major help in getting me started…
I’ve had a eureka moment for a long time about an idea involving video application but I’ve never had the know how in the execution of it.Finding this book was a gem, it’s like the manual I was looking for on how to get the show on the road. It’s like a blueprint and has made the entire task a lot less daunting for someone who doesn’t have a clue.Thank you to the authors for such a well researched and easy to follow book.
