Review: Quality and Efficiency meet Style - So, my previous laptop was starting to show signs of failure, which meant it was time to get a new laptop. I shopped around and looked at reviews. Their were two types people focus when shopping for laptops: the literal on-the-go, compact, multi-day battery types of laptop; the other the high-powered, alternate to your desktop kind of laptop. Out of all the present models I chose the Asus ROG Strix for having an excellent balance of efficiency and power. Now I need to note that this review can't be a direct review of a new laptop as I got mine from desertcart Warehouse (lightly, once used tech resold at a discount). So I do not know what a version of this laptop fresh out-of-the-box is like. I can review how this laptop has been, and so far it has been excellent. It's light-weight and compact yet has a bigger screen than my original 14" laptop. The fans are quiet most of the time and running at top power they are still smooth with minimum noise. It has a descent size touch pad (it does not come with a number pad on it) that is not over-sensitive and works as well as a mouse. As for the batter life, it's unclear how long it can really last (I estimate it at between 4-6 hours without major features running). As for the physical features It comes with two regular USB ports on the right side next to each other, a LAN line port, an HDMI, and two USB-C ports on the left. The body and frame is a solid yet smooth metal-like plastic. It also has an LED light running along the front of the underside. Both that and the keyboard can have their lights and color chanced using ASUS's armory crate app that also lets you control most other features of the computer. All in all I love my new laptop and have been enjoying using it and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new computer. Review: Powerful - Nice laptop, does everything I need it to, just wish the battery lasted longer.

Excellent Gaming / Work PC
My first Gaming Laptop, bought it for work and gaming, overall a perfect pc and for the price I think that I got a great deal. Love the QHD 240Hz refresh rate and 500nits brightness of the screen, the i9 13gen gives you a lot of power and the graphic card for me its pretty good. Battery last for around 9 hours if you use it just for web browsing, if you use it for gaming around 2 hours, so whatever you use it for is the time youll get. The only problem for me was 16GB RAM I upgraded it to 64GB RAM because of my work and it was a perfect upgrade (ASUS official page says it only supports 32GB RAM) but you can upgrade it to 64 RAM without a problem.

Out of date Windows!
I was looking for a laptop with a wish list. This was to be used for business so I wanted an Rj 45 port; backlit keyboard, An Intel I7 (or above) and a touchscreen. You wouldn't have thought that list would have been hard to find but it was. Even getting an Rj45 port on a laptop was problematic. I searched for around 2 weeks but this one best met or exceeded the wishlist. It was listed as a "gaming machine" but that was unlikely to prevent it being used for business. It was also listed as a 2023 model. On the evening it arrived I set about updating Windows 11 prior to installing the software I required. I got no further than that! On the update screen a message was displayed that effectively said the version of Windows 11 supplied with the laptop was out of date........ (what??) This afternoon I called Asus technical support (who answered very quickly) and after a couple of attempts with a Windows troubleshooter told me to send the laptop back to the seller.. Largely I write with a "buyer beware" review but also to bring the problem to Amazon's attention. Amazon clearly listed this as a 2023 model but I was unaware (as I am sure Amazon do too) that there would be this Windows issue. I am disappointed in Asus because I suspect that this issue could probably have been resolved by issuing a new Windows activation code. Amazon have been outstanding in understanding the problem and arranging for a return. I would have liked to have kept the laptop but obviously the Windows issue would likely have caused me problems in the future.

Great Computer For Price - Num Lock Pad Missing - False Advertising.
The computer is amazing and yes you can buy upgrade Ram to 64gb despite what ASUS says about 32gb max. For the price, you cannot go wrong with this computer. However, the seller is false advertising by showing that it has a numpad on the track pad. This feature is NOT included with this computer. They should not have that as the main photo as it is VERY misleading! I did not plan to use the numlock pad much but it would've been a nice feature to have, so I am disappointed about this. So far though, the computer is great and moves smoothly. audio isn't the best, but most people use headphones anyway these days. The quality of the screen is great and the motion is very smooth. I am overall satisfied, just wish they did not get my hopes up for something the computer did not have!

Version: Intel 13950hx RTX 4050
I've had mine for a few days now, current thoughts are its a very stylish and powerful pc. It runs mw2 on ultra settings at 100 fps (mux switch off, slightly boosted) and has the best graphics ive seen to date. Definitely worth it at this price thus far. My original gaming pc is an hp omen T-17 gtx 1060 intel I7 8th gen. I thought it was a great pc and could still run demanding games at around 60 fps with high settings (1 step below ultra) but I wanted to gift it to a family member and upgrade. This pc is far superior to the 2018 hp omen, great use of screen space as well. The size made me sad at first since im used to a 17 inch but its hardly noticable in game. Have not taken this pc apart yet nor had any issues with software or hardware, will update review as needed. Current opinion is highly recommended at 1600 USD

After a year of using this laptop, I am honestly impressed with it I brought it to an Asus Service center (🤣just for a Bio update) and was reassured that everything was up to par, only difference was that this is a USA model Thus far, these are the main points of consideration for future buyers: - trusted brand and quality - a solid year of usage without issues - no overheating or freeze frames - tried on multiple games including Triple A titles - prolonged usage on streaming platforms (binge watching 🤣) - overall excellent and quality product So conclusion is, just buy it

I edited my comment as i am having problems on this design. Plugging in the power when the battery almost low, shuts down the laptop and won’t turn back on. Had it repaired as it was still under warranty. mother board was damage and had it replaced. From time to tine Monitor black out and had it hard reseted 3 times before monitors display something. 3 months after buying problems starts to appear. Pretty much disappointed on this laptop.
