Wouldn't connect at first but customer support fixed quickly!
Update: Customer support was phenomenal about getting this fixed. It works perfectly now, just needed an easy update. I would recommend this product.Original Review:I cannot get this to connect to a 2020 Dodge Charger with built in auto android on the uconnect display. I have tried unplugging and going through the setup again several times, but it does not work. Tried getting support through Amazon but received a message that all agents were busy. Very frustrating. I would have been better off just using a charging cord. This device is useless.

Good value for wireless android auto
Was looking for a wireless android auto connection for my 2017 Ford Explorer. I didn't need any additional features, I just didn't want to have to plug my phone in every time I got in the car. The instructions are limited but it's not too hard to figure out if you are comfortable with android wifi and Bluetooth connections. At first it connected easily and seemed to work ok, but I then started having connection issues. It would initially connect, but when the car was shut off it would not reconnect again. The issues seemed to have started after an android auto update on my phone. (Pixel 7). I contacted support but they weren't a lot of help and just basically provided the initial install instructions. I was ready to return the product, but then a few days later I received an update to some of the android connectivity features on my phone and the product started working perfectly again and has ever since. So I believe that the successful use of this adapter, or any similar product, depends more on the phone you are trying to use it with rather than the vehicle itself. Unfortunately it may be a hit or miss thing, but if it does work with your device, it works fine and is a great value for the money. It does take about 10 or 15 seconds to connect once you start the car, but I am pretty sure that is normal for any device of this type. But once connected it works just as well as a wired connection. Not sure if future android updates will cause any issues but for now everything is fine The only reason I gave 4 stars was the limited support available.

Garbage! Dead after two months
I cannot understand why Amazon carries all these garbage. This product was OK for the first month or so. After that, for unexplainable reasons, a minor bump on the road, or just tapping on the dashboard would cause it to disconnect from the vehicle. I tried changing location (horizontal vs vertical mount) to no avail. Now, after 5 months, of course Amazon no longer sells this product. It has morphed into another "brand" from another fly-by-night vendor. Very frustrating.

Finally, no more android auto disconnects
I have been having problems with android auto constantly disconnecting when it was plugged in via USB cable. Kept happening with different cables. Search for more cables, came across this device. Been using this since Feb 19 and no issues with the wireless connect to android auto. Sometimes it takes a few seconds more to connect but that's has more to do with subaru's console.and software. The only thing to remember when setting up this device is, make sure you connect this device to your phones bt Bluetooth connection and not wireless wifi. Mine connected to my devices wireless and that didn't work. Had to delete the wireless connection to this device and reconnect via Bluetooth. All is great.

Intermittent Connections
I had my doubts about all the 5-star Vine reviews but gave this a try anyway. Those doubts have been proven justified. I'm somewhat disappointed in this Geohyecc wireless adapter. The device is small enough to be concealed easily. The initial setup was fairly quick and easy. Sound quality is good when the device is connected for audio and phone. And, it does what it claims: allowing cable-free interface of Android Auto- compatible apps. There are some issues, however:The device drops connection with my car at seemingly random times. It remains disconnected for about 30 seconds or so, then reconnects and begins working again. This isn't a big issue if just streaming audio at the time but when using a navigation app like Waze or Google Maps, a disconnection at the wrong moment can result in a missed route guidance. Potentially a big problem when driving through an unfamiliar area. Not to mention that it is pretty annoying and frustrating.I need to manually select the adapter as my phone's blue tooth connected device each time I start using it. For most drives I do not use Android Auto, so the wireless adapter is not plugged into my car's USB port. I allow my phone to connect directly to the car via blue tooth for phone and media. On long drives however, I plug in the adapter to use Android Auto. I then need to toggle the blue tooth power on my phone and select the adapter in order to get it to connect. This could be an issue with the lack of ability to set priority of blue tooth devices in the phone. However, the need to select the adapter each time makes it inconvenient to use. So, I have been using it less often than I would otherwise. Also, the USB port in my car remains powered after the car is turned off, so this device retains the blue tooth connection with my phone after I exit the car and walk away. This forces me to unplug the USB cable after every drive, making it further inconvenient to use. I would prefer if the device had an on-off switch so that it can be powered off and still remain plugged in.There are many wireless Android Auto adapters on the market and they may all connect in the same way as this Geohyecc device. However, the issue of random disconnections is difficult to accept. I have to believe that there are better performing products. To do over again, I would buy a different device.

No longer corded to the car.
This device is great. It frees your phone up, no longer being corded to the cars USB port. It connects as soon as the car starts. Other things I noticed is the over all experience of Android Auto seems to work smoother than hardwired. Each car and phone is different but this is how I see mine. Worth getting IMO.
