I've used this several times in the build of my battery system. So far this unit is working great and the torque readings are consistent and repeatable. I am mostly using this under 10 ft-lbs.

this is really nice for the diy tasks at home. Does inch pounds and foot pounds. Didnt confirm accuracy but doesnt matter as long as everything is equal. worked fine for a timing belt job.

EDIT March 12, 2024: The seller refunded the purchase price of the wrench. I bought it based on the strong reviews and I'm hoping I just got a lemon. I will buy another one. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The wrench is impressive in appearance and weight. It looks and feels like a quality tool. But the torque settings are WAY off and destroyed a copper flare on my mini split. The VANPO wrench seemed to work fine with the 1/2" line using Senville torque specs of 35-37 Nm. But when I tried to torque the 1/4" line at 18-20 Nm the wrench kept turning and turning. I was really cranking it down waiting for the "break" and it didn't come when I felt it should have. Then I finally got the click indicating I was at about 19 Nm. I did a nitrogen pressure test and the fitting failed miserably. When I took off the nut I discovered the copper tubing had totally been crushed. I cut it off and re-flared the tubing and this time I just tightened it by feel. Not a good way to install a mini split! Turns out I'm about 10 days beyond the return window. Sigh.

It worked great while it was working, but after around 11 months it does not let me adjust the torque setting anymore. :( sad because it was really helpful for more precise torques. Tried to leave the batteries out for over a month hoping it would reset in the chip or something, but no luck. It's stuck at the 19 ft pounds I had set it to a few months ago on my last project where I needed a more precise torque wrench. I press the up and down arrow and the screen just freaks out. It still counts down to torque applied but I'm unable to change the setting off of 19 ft pounds :( other wise it's a good project but leaves it practically unusable like this unless I can get my head in to watch the torque happen on the screen (I own a Subaru so that isn't often lol). Always put back in its case and stored in my room with my other precision/valuable tools I don't keep in the garage (bore scope, torque wrenches, etc) and I handled it with care.

My final update is that VANPO has great customer service. They proactively reached out to me to remedy the situation and make things right. That almost never happens in this day and age! I'm providing a second update that VANPO reached out to me based upon my review to try to help with my issues. I'm very pleasantly surprised by this and have added a star for this outreach. I'll will provide an updated review based upon the customer service that I receive. Quick update to clarify that I purchased the torque wrench that included the ratchet and crescent heads so it would appear there are multiple models that are being reviewed for this particular product. I needed a crescent wrench style torque wrench to tighten some very large HVAC lineset nuts. I just tried this VANPO adjustable torque wrench and based upon reviews I was nervous as to how accurate it is. This turned out to be well-founded. The reason I am being careful is that I have literally one-shot at getting my HVAC lineset torqued to the proper spec and if it is too loose I lose all my refrigerant and if I get it too tight it will strip and/or break the mounting brackets. I used a known-accurate torque wrench to compare to this wrench and measurements were wildly off between 10-30%. As best I can tell, the accuracy gets worse the higher the torque so I am guessing there is some sort of calibration that is non-linear. In any case, this tool is a big YMMV and I strongly encourage those that will use it to test to ensure you have an accurate wrench. It would appear some reviewers are happy so hopefully this is limited to just a few of us. Regardless, I cannot go more than 1 out of 5 stars for this reason and will be returning it to get my hard-earned $100 back.

The wrench handle is easy to handle, but the adjustable wrench head needs improvement. It gets loose quickly and there are no serrations on the teeth so it keeps slipping. I was able to tighten a large nut and torque to spec however.

Ich hatte das große Glück den eben vor Eichamt gekommenen konventionellen Drehmomentschlüssel einen Bekannten zum Vergleich zu haben. Das mitgelieferte Zertifikat scheint echt zu sein. Normalerweise zieht man Schrauben mit steigenden Drehmomenten und kleinen Pausen an. Mit dieser Anzeige geht es auch ohne den Drehmomentschlüssel umzustellen. Probe: mit mechanischem Drehmomentschlüssel mit 3 Stufen 30, 38 und 40 Nm die Zentrale Schraube eines Ritzels. Das gleiche ging mit dem Display bei einem anderen Hinterrad. Beide Muttern wurden mit einem meinem alten mechanischen Drehmomentschlüssel zurückgedreht. bei 39 und 40 mN ging es bei beiden nicht. etwas mehr, aber noch nicht 41 nm rechten aus um die Muttern wieder zu lösen. Der elektronische Drehmomentschlüssel lässt sich einfacher einstellen als ein mechanischer und der Druckpunkt ist einfacher zu finden. Zusätzlich wird die digitale anzeige von 4 Leuchtdioden unterstützt.bis zum Sollwert ist die anzeige grün, beim Überschreiten des Sollwerts kommen 2 rote und ein akustisches Signal. Damit kann das übliche Überziehen nach dem Knacken eines mechanischen Drehmomentschlüssels, vermieden werden. Besonders bei den kritischsten 4 Schrauben am Fahrrad, am Vorbau auf der Lenkerseite, kann man sehr bequem in 2 Schritten über Kreuz die Schrauben anziehen.Bei dünnen Stahlschrauben in Aluminium kommt nach fest sehr schnell ab. Letzteres kann bei einem Drehmomentschlüssel mit starkem Druckpunkt versehentlich passieren. DerLenker ist das einzige lebenswichtige Teil am Fahrrad, das nur einmal existiert. Er sollte nicht beim Wiegetritt abbrechen, wenn sich die überdrehten Schrauben aus dem Vorbau lösen. Das passiert einem geübten Monteur nicht mit einem geeigneten Drehmomentschlüssel, aber mit diesem Gerät kann es notfalls auch ein Amateur. Das Prüfen des Drehmments ist auch einfacher, denn bei der mechanischen Art, wird jedes Mal der Druckpunkt beim Sollwert eingestellt und ggf wird die Schraube dann etwas weiter angezogen, mit dem Ton ohne den Druckpunkt nach dem versehentlich das Drehmoment erhöht werden kann. Robustheit eines Präzisionsgerätes ist eigentlich nicht vorhanden. Im Vergleich mit einem mechanischen ist dieses Gerät ein Panzer, aber gegenüber einem Gliedermaßstab eine Mimose. Man kann nicht vergessen nach der Arbeit den Schlüssel wieder zu entspannen. Das ist ein z. B. Robustheitskriterium. Die Dioden leuchten nacheinander auf. Erst eine grüne, bei weiterer Erhöhung die 2 dann kommen, gefühlt, zeitgleich die erste rote und der Signalton. Und wenn die 4. Diode leuchtet ist man über dem Limit.

seems to be good haven't used it much used it a bit on fixing a motorcycle and worked well then, i plan to rebuild engines in the future with this tool.

La compre por la revesibilidad para ajustar tanto los tornillos a derechas de la bici como a izquierdas (especialmente la tuerca que sujeta el plato). El aviso acústico es muy correcto, marca el par aplicado tras el apriete,.... todo perfecto. Tengo dinamometricas manuales y esta, la uso según me conviene. Muy contento

Mi è arrivata nella sua confezione sigillata. Al primo impatto (e anche dopo) mi è sembrata robusta e ben costruita. Le istruzioni in inglese sono semplici. Il software funziona come da istruzioni. Nessun intoppo. Non posso esprimermi sulla precisione, mi fido. E poi non devo mica manutenere un aereo o un Rolex...
