8'' Antique Globe

Really good and stylish

Great details, lights up bright but can still see the globe without hurting my eyes. Perfect size for a side table or desk.

This globe is so attractive and interesting to study with the light inside. My grandson, who is a geography buff, loved it. Arrived quickly and safely.

This is perfect for my kids. They love looking at the globe and asking about other countries. The only thing is that i'm pretty sure it was supposed to have texture, which is why i'm giving it 4 stars and not 5.

i can remember when I was a kid, I was always fascinated by the Globe sitting on the bookcase in the Geography classroom. I loved looking at each continent, all the countries, and how they related to each other on a global scale. Ever since those days, decades ago, I've longed to have a globe of my own. I know I could never afford a 'scientific' globe like we had in school. Those cost hundreds of dollars, IF you can still find them! I found this 8" globe from JOHWOL quite by mistake. I don't remember what I was shopping for, when I spotted this. (Amazon is good for leading you to other ideas for purchases.) But, after I read a little about it and saw the price, I couldn't resist it. I will admit, I was a little skeptical about it being only 8" in diameter. The globes I saw, back in the day, seemed huge to me. But I was very pleasantly surprised as to how good this one looks and how detailed it is for it's size. 8" is a lot larger than you think, when it comes to something like this. Not only is it detailed enough to see many of the countries on each continent, most of the borders are up to date with the current political boundaries. All of the wording is easy to read. The globe itself is very well made. The stand is very sturdy. All of the colors are bright and clear. My wife and I are planning many intercontinental voyages. It's nice to look at this globe, as we plan, to get a visual on the distances. In one of the pics, I point out where we live. How fun is that? We're very happy with this new addition to our display case and object of learning.

Very well designed. Good detail. Light puts out a nice ambient light. Great for accent lighting and decoration.

Creí que era más grande, en veces tengo que usar una lupa. Pero para el caso, es funcional. Por otro lado, ¡¡la empresa smalldecor es genial!!!

Está bien el mundito. Tiene tamaño suficiente para tenerlo en el escritorio. Apaga y prende luz e iluminado en la noche, se ve muy bonito. Solo falta hacer que gire.

Das Produkt ist sehr attraktiv. Der Licht ist sehr gut und kann man damit als Dekoration benutzen. Es ist auch ganz gut für die Kinder damit die Kinder die Länder kennen. Insgesamt bin ich total zufrieden und ich kann immer weiter empfehlen.
