I had one of these alarm timers when it was called Big Time and made by Salter. It was excellent and lasted for almost 15yrs. So far this current reincarnation is working exactly the same way complete with a very loud alarm and features. Very pleased to have found it.

I can hear it in another room without trouble.- It's fine as a timer if you don't care about seconds.- It is reasonably pleasant to look at.- and it came quickly.The magnet is adequate but not particularly strong - you could knock the unit off the fridge by accident - but because the unit is quite thin, the danger of that is reduced.It will solve my problems (burnt toast and potatoes overboiling) so I'm content.

I must have spent hours working out which kitchen timer to get, I settled on this one and I am glad I did. It's LOUD (think loud digital alarm clock, plus a bit), which means it can be heard from other rooms; this likely one of the few timers on Amazon that you can hear when you're in the living room. The other key point is it's powered by conventional AAA battery and not some stupid button battery that is expensive and hard to source.The display is a reasonable size so you should be able to see it from anywhere in your kitchen. The buttons are a fair size, you get pause functionality, and you can set it in hour and minutes. There is a magnet on the rear that is nice and strong, and also a sprung clip should you not have anything metal to attach it to. The only downsides to it are the display is not backlit and it's not that pretty.

A great timer with a brilliant loud alarm. I was delighted. Then the screen went blank - it just died on me. Infuriating. Digital thermometers and timers have 'taken agin me' - neither seem to keep working for more than a couple of months.

I have had an identical model that worked well for many years. It recently became a little too quiet! Strangely this earlier model was by 'Big Time - Salter'. But it is otherwise identical. Its replacement is equally as reliable and its alarm is loud and just as we would want it to be. A convenient size and its magnetic attachment at the rear is most useful as it resides on the front of our bread-maker.A very good buy!

My father in law has Parkinson's disease and needs to take tablets at a regular time (every 2 hours). Simple really but if distracted he'd lose track of the time. Conventional pill dispensers etc. are fine but not audible and/or portable. He investigated kitchen timers but in most instances maximum time 60 or 90 minutes no use for 120 minutes or longer.This is perfect for the job. Takes an AAA cell, has a handy clip to attach to pocket if needed, a magnet to attach to, say, fridge, can time up to 19 hours 59 minute intervals and is easy to use. it's also small and loud. Spot on! Since buying him one no problems. Delivery was quick and fast, I was out at time of delivery but small enough to put through the letter box. Seriously thinking of buying one for myself.

A good honest simple and reliable product. If anything the beeps are too loud. What I really wanted was a timer which returned to the original time setting the time setting after it had reached zero and beeped. Very useful for repetitive timings. With this timer you have to set the time anew after every use.

We use these timers for timing softball games during the season. We have drop-dead time rules, so we bought these to use on the fields. The magnet works great, and sticks to the fencepost without a problem. This timer has an advantage because it allows more time to be set. The majority of the timers only allow 90 minutes. I don't remember what these allow, but we can set it for a 105 minute game, and it works. The timer is very audible, even outdoors with screaming fans. It works great! I know they were rained on during the season, and it didn't hurt them. One did get hit by a foul ball, and it did damage the beeper. It still counted down, but the sound was ruined. A hard foul ball is expected to damage it. I'm an umpire, and I work close with several other umpires. We all give these high reviews!

Vor vielen Jahren irgendwo mal gleichen Timer gekauft.Nun für Schwiegermutter gesucht und endlich gefunden. Die meisten anderen Timer haben nur Minuten und Sekunden. Dieser hat Stunden und Minuten. Genau was wir wieder gesucht haben. Timer ist schön laut , hat einen sehr starken Magneten, große Anzeige und normale AAA Batterie . Kann ich nur empfehlen !

Il prodotto soddisfa pienamente le mie aspettative: è molto pratico da utilizzare e l'allarme sonoro è udibile facilmente anche in altri locali diversi dalla cucina dove lo tengo abitualmente.Si può programmare fino a 20 ore con un intervallo minimo di 1 minuto il che è più che sufficiente per un timer da cucina.Ha anche una calamita sul retro per fissarlo facilmenteUnica pecca, che non c'entra col prodotto ma col venditore, è che la consegna in periodo natalizio non è avvenuta nei 3 giorni garantiti da Prime (nel mio caso entro la vigilia di Natale) ma si è protratta fino al 31. Spero sia stato per il periodo notoriamente congestionato anche se un avviso sul prodotto sarebbe stato utile.

Love this digital timer. It's simple and easy to use. The alarm is loud enough that you can't miss it. Bought this as a housetraining tool for my 4 month old puppy (so that I don't forget to take her out to potty every 2 hrs).

Bought this product two years ago and they were great but I ordered six recently and their alarms were very quiet in comparison. For the price, I'd recommend going with something else if you need it for use in a loud environment such as a kitchen.
