First attempt, I placed in too many water and fruits so the mask didn't set (a huge mess was made afterwards). Second attempt, I carefully read through the instructions (20g/40ml of fruits & 80ml of water inc collagan sachet) and it worked and setted much better, the machine allows an even spread on the sheet mask. Once setted (should bounce a bit like jelly or alginate when you tap with your finger), there's a button on top of the mask template which lefts the top part, allowing you to carefully lift the rest as the mask do feel a bit heavy. Next, you'll need to place it on your face (fruit jelly side), the mask itself was too small for my mouth and too long for my nose, on the otherhand the mask itself was so cooling it felt nice. Problem is you can't exactly sit up or walk around the house with the mask on as it will gradually slip off therefore lying down is the best option, some bits of the jelly did get on my lips which felt unplesant. You have to wash your face afterwards as bits of the fruit jelly gets stuck on your face. It did leave my face feeling squeaky clean which i applied my daily night care routine. Overall, I think this product is ok. It comes with a recipe manual so you know which ingredients are best for your skin. I feel this is ideal to share with friends and family as they too can experiment and have fun, also ideal using fruits are near their expiry dates or such. My main concern is how long the machine will last and that i would need to restock on the sheets and powder from desertcart.
