Q: Does this work on color treated curls?.

My hair is colored and it works great. It isn't dry but soft and moisturized.

Q: Does this product work well with permed hair?

My hair is natural so I don't know about permed hair. I am assuming it should. It will definitely provide moisture and texture.

Q: Has anyone with tightly coiled hair tried this? also, i looked up the ingredients. has anyone experienced breakouts from the coconut oil? thank you.

Yes very much so. There is a learning curve as I used too much in the beginning. But I wet it down and re smoothed out the gel and there no more flakes. Easy to refresh and does have a crunch. My hair is very defined and very minimal frizz. My curls are controlled.
