These plastic animal beads are really cute, and could easily be strung on a shoe lace, which would make it easy for preschoolers to make a necklace.The description says 100 pieces. I actually got 122! However, I didn’t get each animal in every color, and some colors I only got one of for some animals.If you want these for pattern practice, you will want to separate them by animal or color first and determine what you can use. I definitely got more elephants and giraffes than any other animal.I used coins for size reference when measuring. The giraffe is on a 50-cent piece. The other animals are each on a quarter.They seem to be made of a durable hard plastic, and they should not break easily. They are not meant for children who still put things in their mouths, but most preschool and young grade school children will love them.These are an excellent value, and I highly recommend them.

Earlier last year, we obtained some beads and things for making bracelets. We used them at a family reunion to keep the younger children busy while the adults could reminisce. Our plan was to do that again and these zoon animal shaped beads seemed just right. Unfortunately, the quality of the beads was lacking. Some of the animals were almost impossible to identify. We’ll probably add these to another set of beads at our next gathering, hoping the kids might mix them in with other decorator items.

Grabbed these for my daughter to make bracelets. Perfect!

Great price, good quality beads. There were no broken beads.I received 98 instead of 100 though (I counted twice). Since I only paid $3.49, it didn't warrant the trouble of sending it back for exchange. The beads are 4-star quality, for me, but I took a star off for the missing pieces.

They are cute animal beads. I got them for my daughter who’s 4 and on the spectrum. She loved listing off the animals and I like that they are actually recognizable for her. They are a very hard plastic so sturdy and not to small. She’s able to thread them herself. So great for a child’s fine motor skills. Nice colors. Overall I seen nothing wrong with them that deserves any type of low star rating.

The colors match the vibrancy of the pictures shown. All the colors come in one pack. The holes are good for shoe lace size. My kids think they are so fun! They love the animals. It makes for more exciting beading. They are fun to sort, lace, make believe with the littles, and make fun projects. The holes look clear and not messed up like on some cheap beads. There may be a couple rough edges but nothing too concerning. I'm happy with them.
