I love the smell of essential oils but I can't always have the going in the house because of dogs and my family members being sensitive to the smell so I got this to enjoy the scents on my own. It came packaged just fine and I didn't see any defects. The box contains the mask, the disc plug, disks to put oil on, a mask-type covering, and an ear loop to attach it to your ears. You can either put the oil on the felt disks and put it in the plug or like me you can just stick the bottle on it and enjoy the scent that way. Getting it set up was a breeze as long as you can read the instructions and as I type this I'm getting the fresh scent of oranges pushed straight into my nostrils and not bothering anyone else with the smell. You will however look like a giant nerd with this on so I recommend doing it at home. I have worn the mask for about an hour straight so far and it is as comfortable as the first 5 mins when I put it on. If you are looking for a way to get aromatherapy straight to your nostrils and don't mind looking like a dork this thing is amazing.

I really like the concept of this product. I love to use essential oils and this products give me a great way to continue smelling them by putting the mask on. However, I dislike the length of the ear loops. They are just a little too small to fit properly. Because they are too small, they fold my ears forward and if I move around too much, they slip right off my ear as it folds. It's not comfortable to have something so tense around my ears, especially because I wear glasses. Also, the rubber mask is very heavy, adding to tension on the face. I wish it was a bit more thin so that it could be lighter. It is HIGHLY durable though!I use this product when my cat sprays and I have to clean it up. It's a very horrible smell that makes me physically ill and this mask helps to prevent me from smelling the cat smell as much.If you have a really small head then the ear loops will probably work for you but otherwise I wouldn't recommend.

I really like this concept, since nearby people don't necessarily want to smell the essential oils. The overall design is sound. You can screw a standard bottle in directly, or dispense oil onto a provided pad and place it in the smaller threaded cap. The latter obviously weighs less. I personally did not mind the weight of having a bottle hanging off, but I also did not want the bottle open to the air like that. Either method releases essential oils into your own personal space and achieves the primary goal.The mask has two large side openings to draw in oxygen and to release breath vapor, when using the ear loops. If you use the covering mask these get blocked. In tight quarters this is pretty much mandatory, so as not to send the oils around you. It's not exactly discreet looking but if you're an independent person then you wouldn't care.The silicone is thin and soft and it folds back at the edges to give the entire mask structure. This can feel uncomfortable around the nose and cheekbones. I think an improvement can be made to make it less rigid there and also to make it more easily conform to different nose/cheekbones shapes so as to better contain the oils.The mask weighs 45 grams, and 56 grams with the covering. I'm not sure the mask needs to project out as much as it does, and they could probably shave a bit of weight off that way. They could probably make the cutouts bigger, or add additional ones (near the mouth) as well.The covering ear loops were too short for me. I used a mask loop extender that goes behind the neck to make it longer but secure enough. I don't exactly have a big head, in fact I know people with bigger heads.If you really want personal diffusing then you can perhaps make peace with the shortcomings. I'm using it and enjoying it, but it's a little annoying that it's so close to being better.

As an essential oil user, i love this concept of using my favorite oils on the go. Got to use it during the cold season and find the mask comfortable for the times i've used it. It's a great way to incorporate good therapeutic oils in your regimen for wellness purposes. However i wished the seller had added a versatile oil as a start for new user who purchased the device and may not be familiar with essential oils. The straps are adjustable. You could try using a mask extender if it get too tight and uncomfortable. A good plus is that the mask is made of silicone and is soft. I like the opening vents on the sides but the mouth area is too long and seems far away for me to enjoy the oils. How many drops of oil you use will depend on your need. Overall it's a great invention.
