Salt mill vegetables made stainless steel, made in Italy, 24 cm in diameter

Brilliant gadget, bought for processing tomatoes from 80 tomato plants into passata, love the fact it had 3 different sizes. Made processing super quick with less wastage. Definately recommend.

Such a good looking kitchen gadget hung up with the rest of my stainless steel! Reasonably well made and purées and mashes food easily. I’ve also used for blackberry jam and it did an incredible job. Will be buying another for my mother in law. She is recovering from throat cancer and can only eat puréed food so this will be excellent for her.

I have no idea why this is described as a "salt" mill - it is almost exactly the same as my ancient Mouli food mill, although that was aluminium, and eventually got so scruffy it had to be binned. This is a shiny steel one which I hope will stay shiny. It doesn't feel quite so robust as the old one I had but works in exactly the same way with a frame which takes one of three different discs depending on how finely milled you want your food to be. You then place the central point of the sprung handle into the centre of the disc and slot the two wing arms under the notches on the side of the frame. Put the vegetables, or whatever, into the mill and turn the handle, reversing it every so often to clear the centre and bring down the bits that haven't yet gone through. Lovely and simple - works a treat and no electricity involved. It might have got 5 stars if I knew it was going to last as long as my old one did (30 years!) but I am not convinced it will do quite as well.

Although this produces great results, once it was finally assembled, that is, it is a little on the flimsy side and the finish isn't great. There were no assembly instructions with it, so it took a little while to get the perforated plates in properly and I'm still not absolutely sure we did it correctly (yes, it took two of us) and the hollow handle (it's not as solid as it looks in the picture) is uncomfortable on the hands after using it for a while, as the edges are quite sharp. I've only used it once (for potatoes) which took an age, but for smaller quantities, I'm sure it would be quicker. I'm glad I bought it, especially for the price, but it won't be coming out of the cupboard regularly!

Simply brilliant!No fuss, simple to use and clean. Went through mounds of home grown tomatoes to make ketchup, soup, passatta etc in next to no time.Wish I'd bought one years ago instead of struggling with a food processor and sieve.Can't recommend this enough.

Dreadful quality. I’m extremely disappointed. I’m used to making my purées with this kind of “machine” since I was a kid so I’m quite familiar with how it’s supposed to work.This one is shakey, poor quality. Once you were lucky enough to fix the filter and make it stable, you need to fix the upper part (the one with the handle). Sadly, the quality is just that bad that you won’t be able to even turn it, the whole thing gets stuck and jumps off the hinges after a couple turns. Waste of money and of time.

The best kitchen gadget i ever had..!! Cuts jam making time in half ising this! My redcurrant jam was perfect ... no pips in at all...! This mill has different discs with different size of holes on to suit what ever you want to use it for!!! A must have if your want seed less currant jam/ preserves!!! Highly recommend it.Good, sturdy quality, no metal shavings in jam .... PERFECT!!

Wow this is well made, easy to clean, and made short work of the 10lb blackberries .....when the tomatoes are ripe this will be put to good use again highly recommend this mill

Utiliser pour plusieurs recettes, bisque, purée, pâte de fruits, résultats extra à répondu à mes attentes. Pour le lavage très simple rincer et au lave vaisselle. Inox de très bonne qualité ne bouge pas du tout. Je recommande vivement cet article.

Compré este pasapurés para hacer gazpacho y para hacer salsa de tomate y así retirar las pieles y semillas.Funciona a la perfección es question de ir girando de un lado a otro hasta que quede una pasta, viene con tres filtros, uno muy fino para frambuesas, fresas, otro para un gazpacho y otro más ancho para purés.Es muy sólido y resistente, precio calidad muy bien, de lo mejor!

Die flotte Lotte, in ihrer originalen, ursprünglichen Form, arbeitet hervorragend, ist komplett aus Edelstahl, sehr leicht zusammenbau-und zerlegbar, optimal in der Spülmaschine zu reinigen.Das Gerät ist technisch und haptisch sehr hochwertig verarbeitet -sollte in keiner ambitionierten Küche fehlen !

Cerca un passaverdura che fosse più robusto e avesse materiali di qualità. Rispetto a quelli di plastica che si trovano in commercio o a quelli fragilissimi in vendita nei supermercati, questo appare decisamente di un altro livello. Made in Italy in acciaio 18/10, diametro di 24 cm, ben costruito e rifinito (presenti anche i gommini sui piedini pieghevoli d'appoggio). Segnalo solo qualche sbavatura sul manico ma che non compromette assolutamente l'utilizzo. Provato al momento solo con le verdure ma l'intenzione è di utilizzarlo anche per le conserve. Presenti 3 filtri diversi, facilissimi da sostituire (1 mm, 2mm, 4mm). Lavato sia in lavastoviglie che a mano e non ha avuto problemi, consiglio personalmente però il lavaggio a mano che è sicuramente meno invasivo e più accurato (lavare molto bene e a fondo sopratutto la prima volta, durante il passaggio con la spugna mi ha rilasciato del nero). In conclusione mi è sembrato un prodotto di qualità, magari non troppo economico ma che consiglio ugualmente se non avete problemi di spesa perchè sicuramente il tempo darà ragione al prodotto e al prezzo

Habe grade das Gerät weiter empfohlen und die vielen negativen Bewertungen gesehen. Logisch, dass es hakt und ruckt, wenn man das leer versucht. Gefüllt dreht sich alles wie geschmiert ;-)Seit 4 Jahren arbeite ich gerne und viel mit der Lotte und sie ist bisher die beste die ich hatte.
