My speed square was delivered today and I couldn't be more pleased! The square itself is extremely convenient due to the multiple uses and functionalities and nicely crafted. The pencil is my favorite part. It will be replacing my daily old school carpenter pencils and I will be ordering led replacements for long term use. I would also love to use the square long-term. My only concern is that none of the measurements or angles are indented. Though, the lines and numbers seem to be made of some sort of a high quality metallic. Love the square a lot so hopefully the numbers don't wear away over time 🤞🏻

Very nice pencil and square, best pencil I’ve used so far. Strong lead nice clip on the pencil sharpener built-in great combination all the way around.

I upgraded from a basic aluminum one that numbers were hard to read. It’s easy to read and has additional features tat are useful. But, best of all was the carpenters pencil. For years I have used the traditional carpenters pencil that is square/flat and couldn’t get a fine point on or it would break. Started using a .07mm mechanical pencil and the lead would constantly break. This pencil is perfect with its 2.88 mm lead that comes with a sharpener just for this lead. Doesn’t break and I can get a fine point when needed. Plus much more. So worth getting two great items for this price!

Love it, simple and function only weak part is the pencil.

Very satisfied with this item. We'll made, many pluses that I haven't gotten to use yet. The addition carpenter's pencil is great as well...extendable tip to mark through drilled holes etc. Its also easy to keep up with (for me) with the clip. (Now I just have to remember to use the clip instead of laying it down.... then starting the search😄)

Speed square is very useful for scribing. Love these pencils. No more wooden pencils for me.

Recently got this speed square for woodworking projects. It is very innovative, has a lot of features that you would expect to find on more expensive brands but at much less cost. all metal construction. I appreciate companies that can blend good quality, accuracy, with affordability. I would put the speed square up against Any of the bigger, more expensive names. And the included pencil is also very handy. Makes dark easy to read scribe lines and has a built-in sharpener too.

The square is well marked. The pencil is great for wood work. Have used pencils for deep hole work all my life. Never used one of these. Will probably never use a pencil again.

Was loving the feature on it but after 3 months of daily use the marks had wear off to the point it's unusable, don't recommend unless it's for light use, not good to be carried in a toolbelt as a carpenter.
