Esrahaddon: The Rise and Fall, Book 3

I have come to expect great writting from M J Sullivan and I was not diapointed, except that the book ended. I am looking forward to his next novel.

This book was a great conclusion to rose and fall. The story of Esrahaddon gave a lot of context to some of the other story lines from legends. I really enjoyed this boom and niblick was easily my favorite character.

Michael Sullivan does it again with great characters, exciting quests, and wonderful world building. Fans will recognize the authors terrific use of humor and emotional connection with his characters. It’s amazing to watch the characters’ growth as the story unfolds.

I have forgotten so much of “what has gone before” that I didn5 enjoy it as much as I should have. And that’s why a 4. The series is excellent, but spaced so far ou5 in biblio time and publishing time, I don’t have a strong enough desire to want to go back and reread. Great enough for a first read, but not for a second.

Amazing as all his books are. Love it, read every one of his books. Can't wait for more from him.

Another story woven into this Michael Sullivan series. The story played vividly in my mind. I felt like I knew the characters and I was amongst them. I made a mistake not knowing the sequence of all these series and did not start with book one. Recommend new readers look up the author to follow the chronological sequence as some of the characters continue. Let the “Art” be with you.

Great book, great series, great universe. Everything is well written and flows. I want more as I am now hooked on the world of Elan.

To finally meet Esrahaddon and get his story was incredible! I am always wanting more after reading these books because they never, ever disappoint!

Michael J. Sullivan just keeps adding wonderful layers to the world that he has built. Esrahaddon fills in so many gaps, explaining a great deal of the history between the first and second series of books and giving us a glimpse into a mysterious figure who emerges in the final series of books. My recommendation? If you love epic fantasy and haven't discovered this author yet - read everything in the Riyria series and all of the other books in that world. They are fantastic!

I've reviewed just about all of Michael J Sullivan's books in depth.This is the best one yet.His characters are brilliant & so easy to engage with & how he has interwoven crucial details from his Riyria and Legends of the First Empire series' is masterful.It's well worth a read, but honestly I feel it's worth reading all of his books in the order of publication. (Riyria Revelations series, Riyria Chronicles series, Legends of the First Empire series then The Rise and Fall trilogy, of which this is the finale).
