My Deik vacuum wasn’t running more than 2 seconds and shutting off. I couldn’t get it to stop flashing green/red upon charging. I bought this replacement battery and it work great, until it was doing the same thing. I didn’t get rid of my Deik, but bought a replacement stick vacuum, which felt like a toy vacuum compared. The new vacuum had the same vacuum charge adapter. So I used it, at the hanging station, on my Deik Vacuum. All of the sudden, charging problem solved! It never occurred to me that my charger had gotten dust in the tiny hole and not making good contact with the unit. I had brushed out battery slide in connection and top power plug in on the vacuum several times. Each time seeming to help slightly. But until I swapped charge adapter, nothing resolved the red/green light flashing. Now, I regret taking my old batteries to Lowe’s. There was probably nothing wrong with them. But this replacement battery is OEM, which is a small miracle, since Deik seems to be a ghost in the market place. No vacuums, just some random items. If you are having charging problems, try a new charge adapter and I would recommend this perky lithium battery.
