I bought the standard headset at first for budget purposes and quickly realized I should have bought the pro with the battery included. Battery life is 2-3 hours and it definitely helps to balance the headset. Not terribly hard to install, just don't be like me and make sure you hold onto the screws you remove (they come with extras). Having had the pack for a few months now, it does do this goofy thing where it won't charge the headset unless I press the little button in the middle or won't automatically activate charging when you power the headset on (pretty sure because it's not software compatible like the elite battery headset), but for ~$30, you just can't go wrong. Battery doesn't get too hot so you know this battery should last a long time. Stop getting those dangerous pill shaped extended batteries that can potentially set fire to your headset and get something more sensible.Will definitely be following this comoanu to see what else they come up with as I have also bought their bobomvr2 headset!**Update 12-6-22. Ever since around a month after I bought it, the battery has been a acting up, sometimes not even charging when I put my headset away and attach the oculus usb c charging cord at the end of the day, or sometimes nit even charging the headset while the battery (fully charged) is already attached to the headset once I start my VR (probably something i can easily fix anyway so no big deal). Other than this, works perfectly fine. Have noticed no loss in capacity, even though I have let the battery pack completely die multiple times.
