I recently got bed bugs. While there is no evidence to prove that bed bugs flee the smell, it does demonstrably work to prevent other bugs / animals from approaching its strong scent. I used it on my bed and chairs in conjunction with diatomaceous earth. Proven or not, it seemed to work. There were two perks that I found about this, that I was not expecting: 1. The smell is pure, just like the candy. It is not cut (like some other brands do) and is 25x more powerful than a couple similar brands that I tested it against. It very much does work to cause some insects and animals to avoid it. The only negative is that it fades after a couple days, and to keep it strongly applied it does require re-application. 2. I love the smell. putting it where I sleep, made me sleep more restfully; similar in reaction to how sleeping while smelling lavender is comforting / soothing. I may just keep reusing this for that purpose!

I bought this peppermint spray primarily to ward off or do away with "Brown Marmorated Stink Bugs." These pests get really widespread in the summer months. At the worst, they show up all over the exterior walls like dinosaur-era cockroaches. Often they'll be in hard to reach places. So I can spray this peppermint oil at them, and it makes them fall to the deck or cement, where I can manually capture or destroy them. I don't think it really kills them, but it repels them and gives me a weapon to use for trying to keep their population down. They have no natural enemies (except for the Japanese wasp, not available in the USA). They are highly invasive, and even hid themselves in my outdoor sauna! they occasionally get into the house, like in my bed or toothbrush. So I have to be very aware and careful. This peppermint spray is an excellent product for helping me to eliminate these annoying, ugly pests! (bonus -- I also scare away squirrels with it, because they are always trying to eat up all my bird food.)

Very very potent, seems to have helped with the mice and spider problem but the sprayer sucks. Leaks and doesn’t give a consistent stream.

only 3 star for noow, havent used it yet, i have a carpenter bee problem, and hope this will help get rid of them. good price. probably will try a hand sprayer first and see.......

This product was so much better than I was anticipating it to be! My back yard is wooded and filled with bugs especially pesky mosquitoes! The easy to use jug comes it a spray wand; my husband raved about being able to easily spray outside all around as well as in the house. We noticed a difference almost instantly and the minty aroma was a plus! We will definitely buy again as this was a valuable purchase!

Works great & love the minty smell don’t irritate me I have rare cancer. I needed something to keep spiders & bugs away. Without irritating my breathing.
