I have three of these in various sizes/thread pitches, for my BMW’s and Porsche. I found that products from other recommended vendors would bend when the weight of the wheel and tire was placed on them, or would easily get cross-threaded. I then found these from Wheel Connect, and have been VERY pleased! They are sturdy stainless steel, and don’t bend when weight is put on them, They tread easily into the wheel carrier and don’t cross-thread. Importantly, the outer portion where you slide the wheel on is a smaller diameter so the wheel goes on easily, then gradually tapers up to full diameter, in order to center the wheel directly over the holes. They are color coded so you know which goes with which car. Overall, an excellent design. I have had them over 18 months and changed probably 40 tires with no sign of wear (I change tires a lot for the track). I would highly recommend them over any others.

Works really well on all 3 cars that I have worked on. The finish is nice but once the wheel is placed on, the wheel can actually scratch the hanger slightly within time.

Have not yet used the item yet but it appears to be very well machined with a nice color coded anodized finish with the size (mine is a M12 X 1.5 for a Mercedes CLK550) laser etched onto the shaft for easy identification. I like that on the threaded end, the first few threads have been removed (it is not threaded all the way to the end of the device) to help to minimize the chance of cross-threading or damaging the device threads if it is dropped on the pavement. This makes it much easier to start the alignment pin into the hub threads. Shaft length is shorter than the Mercedes OEM one that came with my car, but I suppose this will place less torque on the hub threads if the weight of the wheel is accidentally dropped on the far end of the device (the end farthest from the hub) when trying to align the wheel on the pin. So far, am very pleased. Will have better feedback once the device is actually used of course, but I can’t imagine on such a simple device that it will not work as designed.

This little tool makes it so much easier to line up you wheels. I only bought one but I’ll be buying another one to make it even more easier. Must have if you service your own car.

Product worked great to mount wheel on Mercedes. I did the front without the device. After I received the device I used it on the heavier rear wheels. No mire straining and struggling to mount the wheels on the car.

Excellent quality! I installed Italian RUF Speedlines from my '94 Speedster onto an '04 Boxster. I struggled for three hours by myself to try and get these mounted. When these arrived, I installed all 4 wheels with Michelin Pilot Sports in 20 monutes!

This fit perfectly and definitely makes mounting wheels easier. Be careful of the knurling on the ends, though. It can easily scrape up your rims' lug holes. I'd rather the ends be smooth.

Used this when doing a full brake job on my 2015 Golf TDI. It made reassembly and tire instillation a breeze.Well worth the money.

Really great tool which makes removing and installing wheels so much easier. It takes the weight from the wheel which frees your hands to remove/install lug nuts.

Changing TIres on a Mini is easier with a tool like this for the wheel to hang onto something while you remove the lugs or putting tires back on car while not trying to balance and hold the tire at the same time. Nice colour and won't get lost in your tool set. quite sturdy and held up the weight of the tire no problem

Should be in every VW T-Roc Glovebox! Buy 2, it makes it easier.
