Great Product
These weights are the perfect size for my Total Gym and the little bar bell I use. I even think I could loop them through my weight belt for added pounds for my Tricep Dips. Or even stuff them in between my body and my belt.Holding them in my hands for my farmer walks around the block. They're not bulky so walking around the neighborhood is worth trying.

Looks like good value for money
Yes, the rubber bands are awful. But they are easy enough to replace. The mechanical design is also easy enough, but works well even in pairs on any dumbbell that's larger than the 5KG hex ones. The smaller ones become a little tight on the hand with two plates.Note the internal angle is bigger than the external one, making these plates easy to mount and harder to remove - which is exactly what is necessary. They do not drop due to their own weight even when shaken vigorously, and this is with the original awful bands. My only complaint is the color. Black addon plates are very easily lost in a gym with black hex dumbbells and black floors. I stuck some reflective tape on them, and suggest any who takes these to public gyms do the same.Price's a steal, too. Half the cost of any alternative.I wish there was a .25 kg version though.

Just as good
These are just as good/functional as the Micro Gainz brand, which is 3x the price

Really nice, cheapest 1.25lb plates I could find
I didnt weigh them because my food scale broke, but it feels lighter in my hand compared to my 2.5lb platesSmells a little odd and a bit slimey straight out the package but whatever, I assume that's the latex dust or whatever it is

Didn't work for my hex dumbbells
Mine arrived in perfect condition, had all bands and all in good shape. Unfortunately they don't work for my dumbbells so had to return them. I have the chrome rubber hex dumbbells that have contoured handles; the weights slide down from the upper slope into the valley of the handle which is where your hand is. They flank both sides of your hands directly and move around; just knew it wasn't gonna turn out good so returned. But I imagine on other types of dumbbells they might be good.

They work ok, but not great.
Recently bought these for use in my relatively busy home gym (5 of us use it). I also own the MicroGainz versions as well and use them regularly. These are pretty large, such that putting them on any smaller than a 25lb dumbbell it stick up well above the weight. They rubber band mechanism should work well theoretically, however since it’s not very strong and placed high up on the weight it doesn’t squeeze down around the dumbbell handle so well, being at risk for slipping or even falling of if you’re not careful f. This is NOT the case with the MicroGainz at all, although they cost more than double. If you can afford the MicroGainz you’d be better served buying a pair of those.

Perfect for small incremental growth
My gym only has 5lb increments for the dumb bells. Many of my friends use the set I bought to help them go up by 1.25 or 2.5 lbs. It's great 👍

elastic bands broke--no way to replace
These are not durable. The elastic bands all broke so now they are garbage. There is no way to buy more. These are expensive paperweights now. Useless and regret buying them. Avoid these at all costs.
