Battery Life Not That Great
If you do not read a lot in bright environments, you won't see a lot of battery life savings compared with LCD screens. Also not very usable when you flip pages a lot quickly as the e-ink flicker during transitions is irritating compared with LCD screens (think viewing sheet musics while playing instruments or singing). Not worth the price premium and feature reduction compared with LCD tablets. Very nicely made though. Clearly meant to be a premium product.

High-quality premium device
No reviews so I definitely wanted to get my opinion out there. I always liked the idea of E Ink readers but never liked the tiny size of the Kindle and others. Also, Kindle does not work with very many outside reading apps. My local library uses cloudLibrary and there is no way to get those books on the Kindle device as far as I know. if there was, I would definitely go for the Kindle scribe, seems like a very solid product at a competitive price. There is not a lot of reviews or data on this unit and I was a bit nervous ordering this tablet. The Inknote S offers full access to the Google play store. You can use any reading app that you would like. No limitations, no forcing you to buy their e-books or use only one library service. The packaging was very nice, very Apple, premium unboxing. Yes, there is some bad Chinese/English translation and the name and catchphrase is a bit weird. But the tablet build is very solid and the screen is really nice. My main use will just be for checking out library books and reading, probably won’t use the stylus for drawing or notetaking but that all seems to function very well. It’s pretty expensive for a dedicated e-reader but it is a very nice, premium product. I will update if I have problems down the road.
