Been using it for a few years now and highly recommend it , my only regret is that my simple goldfish does not look as cool as the one on the cover of this food :-) Food is of the sinking type which I think helps if you have some fish which are a little slower then others as the floating foods normally get eaten up by the fastest fish!

I have 4 goldfish tanks. 3 of the tanks house what I call my cheap and cheerful fish but one has my favourites, my Orandas And Ranchus.I was feeding all my fish on a cheaper pellet which was O.K but I decided to buy some of the Hikari Lionhead for my Orandas and Ranchus.Well, I have been very nicely surprised by the results. My fish have literally exploded in size. In just a few months they have grown dramatically, including their wens. The colour of the fish has also deepened. My red and white oranda now has a lovely deep red but his white is still nice and crisp looking. My blue calico is also lovely and bright.Since using this food I have also had no floating issues at all with the fish which they did very occasionally get. They are a lot more active than what they were before starting this diet too.The water is really lovely and clear and my water parameters are fantastic.I feed this 3 times a day and also give them bloodworm twice a week and spinach a couple of times a week and they are doing great on this combination.I soak the pellets in a little pot of tank water for ten minutes before feeding.I highly recommend this food.

My 2 fancy goldfish love these sinking hikari pellets, they sink as soon as you put them in the tank, they also don't break up and disintegrate as soon as you add them to the tank and make it cloudy, I also add these to the Repashy super gold, a little on the expensive side but well worth it.

None of my fish likes ,not only oranda , and my oranda fish developed dropsy as well ,

I will buy it again for sure. Fishies requested!!

We recently ran out of this food for our Oranda and Ranchu and used a standard fancy fish food...the difference in their health was huge. They seem so much better now we have brought this back in!
