FERMAX 3431 Loft 4+N - Universal door telephone, 5-wire wiring system, gypsum mount

I had some doubts about how this would work after reading some reviews! However the fact is it works very well and once you know the wiring schematic it is very easy to connect! I was told a load of nonsense by my M.A. saying I needed a 'like for like' replacement and "Don't buy a cheap one from Amazon". The so called 'specialist' they put me in touch with was very vague about attending and replacing it! Here's my tips for successfully installing one! Firstly don't remove or disconnect any wires from the old one!! Take pictures of the wiring showing clearly which wires are connected to which terminals! If the colour codes are not obvious mark each one with a number corresponding to the terminal it is fixed to! Identify EXCATLY the make and model of the old one and look up on the comprehensive instruction manual to find it in the list! If it's not on there it might not work! The pdf manual can be downloaded in advance from the item description! Once you have matched the old to the new just follow the number code for your old handset to the new one! That's it! Make sure you also check the correct setting of the SW2 (Z or E) switch! All in all this has probably saved me over a hundred pounds on using a 'specialist' company!!

Initially I was concerned about the ease of instalment due to some of the reviews. It turned out to be quite straightforward so I thought I would outline it in a review. Here is how I set it up: 1. First I took the cover off our old intercom unit, which was a Comelit. See image 1. 2. Fermax Loft 3399 comes with a wiring manual. See image 2. From the labels of the wires in the previous step, I figured out which wire goes where and which switch to set. 3. Once the wiring was done, I put the cover on and tested. That was all. See image 3. Now, if my previous intercom brand wasn't in the wiring manual, I couldn't have installed it with such ease; so, I'd say check that before you buy. The unit looks good and feels solid.

Installation was easy enough, there is a comprehensive guide to replacing other manufacturers phones with wiring guides, just be sure to note the colours and where they go BEFORE you disconnect the wiring from the old phone. There are volume controls on the board inside the phone which you may need to adjust after installing. The only complaint I have is that the volume of the ringer is very high and not easily adjusted.

Very poor quality. Sound quiet. And working not properly. I not recommended this product.

The first one I bought had a fault with the internal buzzer and the instructions were very basic, so it took a while to figure out it was the entry phone that was faulty not my wiring skills! Quite frustrating, but I returned it & it was replaced very quickly. Took 10 mins to install & works well.

What can I say, it does what it says on the box, was easy to connect, comes with a manual and looks good. You don't need to be an electrician to connect it, I just found a manual from my old intercom online, took a photo of how wires are connected, in the manual read which wire goes to which terminal and put cables in the corresponding terminals on the new one. Replaced old intercom Comelit Vox 2000 from late 80s early 90s.

Sadly, after reviewing and doing a little homework before purchasing this item. It turned out to be a waste of time. The product represents good value for money but, despite what I have read, it is not compatible with the Videx entry system. I am reasonably capable of wiring but in this case called in a professional to rewire based on a photograph taken of the original wired entry phone. He could not do it either and fortunately didnt charge me for the hour of his wasted time. It looks nice on the wall but unusable. Guests will just have to climb the 6 flights of stairs and ring the doorbell!....Value for money if its Compatible!

Muy buen producto, muy fácil de instalar gracias a la tabla de equivalencias que lo acompaña. Es muy importante al instalar regular adecuadamente el nivel de volumen de micro y altavoz; en mi caso tanto el auricular como en el altavoz de la botonera en el portal el volumen era demasiado alto. Por lo demás muy bien, producto de calidad y a un precio bueno. Para quien no lo sepa, la regulación se hace en los 2 potenciómetros de color rojo de la foto (cada uno está bien indicada su función). El transporte por ASM perfecto, sería deseable que Seur les tomase como ejemplo a seguir.

Tutto è nato dalla ristrutturazione di casa, al termine dei lavori tutte le pareti erano belle bianche e quel vecchio citofono GIALLO della Urmet era veramente brutto il modello preciso è URMET 1130 . Spaventato dalla non compatibilità con altre marche ho cercato in prima battuta un altro citofono Urmet, ma purtroppo i modelli più carini utilizzano le tecnologie più recenti con chiamata elettronica o addirittura il bibus con 2 soli fili, quindi non compatibili con il mio vecchio citofono a 5 fili e chiamata tradizionale(ronzatore). Sul punto di abbandonare l'idea di installare un citofono più carino e quindi ricomprare un prodotto Urmet, decisi di cercare su Amazon un prodotto generico / universale, sinceramente non ce ne sono molti, il più carino e con le recensioni migliori è il FERMAX LOFT 3399. Il prezzo è circa 21 euro, leggendo le recensioni ho scoperto che il prezzo è salito nel tempo, ho visto che nel passato è stato venduto anche a poco più di 10 euro, decisi di pazientare e attendere un eventuale ribasso del prezzo, dopo una settimana scese di pochissimo ma quel poco mi convinse :-) ACQUISTO FATTO !!! Mi è stato consegnato in tempi molto veloci 2 gg dopo l acquisto, di solito faccio consegnare alla posta, cioè seleziono una posta vicino casa per il ritiro, mi trovo molto bene in quanto a casa non c’è mai nessuno, uscendo alle 18 dall'ufficio mi reco alla posta e non trovo mai la fila ;-) e poi il grande vantaggio è che consegnano anche di sabato, quindi 6 giorni su 7. IL PRODOTTO : Il prodotto è corredato da istruzioni semplici ma chiare, in un unica tabella trovate l'elenco dei citofoni compatibili e come vanno collegati i fili in base al vecchio citofono !!! MONTAGGIO : Il montaggio è andato veramente liscio come l olio, ci ho messo 10 minuti compresi i fori al muro, potevo sfruttare i vecchi fori/stop ma rifacendoli bene ad ogni angolo il citofono è risultato ben aderente alla parete senza aria dietro, attenzione a non forare i corrugati del citofono :-O Potete vedere dalla foto che la prima cosa che ho fatto è provare il citofono senza forare e senza smontare quello vecchio, sono stato prudente. Come dicevo prima il Fermax è compatibile sia con gli impianti con chiamata elettronica che con chiamata classica, basta seguire le istruzioni e impostare lo switch nel modo corretto nel mio caso era già impostato a "Z" quindi non l'ho dovuto toccare, mentre va impostato a "E" in caso di chiamata elettronica, vi sottolineo che pochi citofoni generici sono compatibili con entrambe le chiamate ! Nel citofono è presente anche un altro switch, non ho trovato nota nelle istruzioni, la curiosità era tanta, fortunatamente sono riuscito a controllarmi e a non fare esperimenti :-) Collegare i fili è stato un gioco da ragazzi, vi consiglio di scollegare e ricollegare i fili nel nuovo citofono uno per volta o segnarvi il colore e la posizione oppure segnare ogni cavo con lo scotch carta, altrimenti vi perderete la funzione di ogni filo ed è un bel problema, il colore dei fili nella citofonia è a discrezioni dell’installatore non ci sono regole !!! Una volta collegato il tutto, vi servirà una spalla(un altra persona ahaha), effettuate tutte le prove del caso e in questa fase mentre parlate con il vostro interlocutore tramite il nuovo citofono potete regolare tramite un piccolo cacciavite da elettricista(io ho usato il cercafase) i due potenziometri che vedete all’interno del citofono, uno regola il microfono e l altro altoparlante (Vedete FOTO) ATTENZIONE : -se avete più pulsanti di apertura portone non è il modello che fà per voi, questo ne ha solamente uno ! NOTA POSITIVA : Oltre ad essere molto bello esteticamente e perfettamente bianco, il citofono ha una cosa molto utile e comoda, la cornetta è magnetica, quindi basta appoggiarlo alla base e si sosterrà senza trovare il gancetto, con il vecchio citofono capitava che si agganciasse male o che si sganciava da solo quando qualcuno citofonava, colpa delle vibrazione del ronzatore ! con questo il problema è stato risolto :-) Mi sento di consigliarvelo a pieno, veramente un buon prodotto ! Se il mio giudizio sul prodotto cambierà, di sicuro tornerò ad aggiornare la mia valutazione. Se avete dubbi di qualsiasi genere commentate qui sotto vi risponderò con piacere. [ ... ] Grazie

Ich wohne in einem Altbau (Gemeindebau) in dem ich vor einiger Zeit erst eingezogen bin. Da ich vom ersten Tag an ständig auf das schäbige alte Haustelefon schauen musste, entschied ich mich es so schnell wie möglich los zu werden. Amazon war die erste und letzte Stelle wo ich nachschauen musste. Beim Haustelefon muss man immer aufpassen da es 50000 verschiede Arten und Weisen gibt wie man es richtig anschliessen kann. Immer merken wie das aktuelle Haustelefon (falls vorhanden) angeschlossen ist, sonst kann es sein das am Ende nix mehr geht. Als ich die ganzen Haustelefone die hier zur Auswahl standen durchblätterte, gefiel mir das FERMAX Loft Universal mit Abstand am meisten. So verabschiedete sich mein altes Urmet 1131 um fürs Fermax Platz zu machen. Funktionieren tut es sehr gut, ausser das man bei der Old School Sprechanlage vom Haus (Urmet) sehr leise rüberkommt und man gezwungen is in der Wohnung bisschen lauter zu werden. Da man eh nie wirklich mehr sagen muss ausser "JA!?", war das für mich nicht wirklich ein Problem. Zum Haustelefon selber: Maße 85x220x40 Der Hörer hat einen Magneten eingebaut der Ihn in der Halterung zusätzlich einrasten lässt. Was sehr cool is höhö ^^ Generell ist das Gerät sehr edel und auch minimalistisch, so wie ichs wollte. (Ein Knopf reicht vollkommen). Noch dabei ist eine mehrsprachige Beschreibung mit den Modellen die kompatibel sind bzw. wie man es verdrahten muss. (Falls ihr die schon vorher sehen wollt, googelt einfach "Fermax Loft Universal Montage und Gebrauchsanleitung pdf") Bestellt hab ich den Artikel bei TDTprofesional. Mit Versand aus Spanien nach Ö waren es nur insgesamt 19,50€, was um einiges billiger ist als bei den anderen Verkäufern (36,50€; 42€ etc). So hats zwar fast ne Woche gedauert bis das Paket angekommen ist, aber am Ende zählt nur das Resultat und das is mehr als zufriedenstellend.

Joli, facile à installé, il m'a permis de remplacer un fermax 20440 cassé. Le branchement est très facile mais j'aurais apprécié qu'ils précisent que faire du fil n°5 et du bouton pour la masse commune surtout, car je ne sais pas vraiment dans quel position le mettre. Sinon, il fonctionne bien, possède un bon volume (réglable) et j'ai apprécié le fait que le combiné se replace facilement grâce à un aimant.
