EuroGraphics6000-4364 Irises by Vincent van Gogh Puzzle, Various, 48 x 68 cm

This is a really difficult jigsaw because the pieces aren't conventially cut. It really is the most difficult jigsaw I have ever done and I absolutely loved it. On many occasions I thought that it was impossible but after many, many enjoyable hours I completed it.

It was a brithday present for my mother. She is enjoying it but says it is the most difficult jigsaw that she has done.

I've successfully completed at least a dozen jigsaws during lockdown and (touchwood) never had a missing piece - until this one from Eurographics. I contacted them via their specific "missing piece" webpage but they didn't even bother to reply... But moving on...I bought the white-boxed "FINE ART COLLECTION" version which is cut to a standard grid with H-shaped pieces (I think the logo printed between EUROGRAPHICS and PUZZLE on the box indicates the cut pattern) and some of the pieces are identical shapes which makes a tricky puzzle even harder. Some puzzlers may like the standard grid but I prefer a variety of shapes (I *think* the gold box has the latter).The colour of the print is bright *but* glossy, which makes it difficult to work on in the evenings under artificial light.Finally, a small niggle - watch out for the finished size. Despite the company name, they're not European (printed in Canada, packed in USA) so the assembled puzzle is slightly too small for a standard Ikea 70 x 50cm frame 😉

Veramente bello, la qualità è veramente alta, i pezzi non sono come i classici puzzle, ma è stato divertente anche per questo. Consigliatissimo!!!!

As many have mentioned, this puzzle is super difficult. The oddly shaped pieces were cut by a sadist and many did not interlock. That being said, this puzzle is perfect for expert puzzlers who need a challenge. This is my 6th 1000-piecer and was able to finish in four days! The end product is beautiful, and I can’t wait to hang it up on my wall. I would not recommend for beginners and/or those with low patience.
