PetlinksPurr-fect Paws Multipurpose Cat Litter Mat - Gray, Extra Large

I’ve had the XL mat for a couple weeks now and it’s kept the carpet around the litter box a lot cleaner. The mat doesn’t catch all of the litter my cat throws but it definitely catches a good majority of it. I layed mine upside down after seeing it be recommended in other reviews and I think that has definitely helped catch more as well.It’s pretty easy to vacuum over and I think having the mat upside down makes the vacuuming easier as well. Overall it’s not the prettiest mat but I think it works pretty well.

This is a great mat. It's rubber, so you can actually clean it. It catches a lot of scatter. I use these inside large plastic totes where I keep the litter boxes. The cat walks in, uses the box, then walks back out across the mat. Outside the tote I use a microfiber bath rug from Gorilla grip to catch the rest of the scatter. This is not a pretty solution, but it works. My cats are unhygienic little monsters so they will find a way to poop or pee on stuff if possible. The rubber construction makes it easier to clean than the foam honeycomb type that hold odors. I wanted to buy some more of these but the price has increased by more than 50%. So I'll wait to see if it comes down. Otherwise I have no complaints. I just tip mat with the excess litter back into the box when I do the twice daily cleaning.

I’ve tried too many litter mat products out there and have found this one to be the best one mainly because my cats won’t chew it up and it prevents them from tracking litter all over the apartment. This is not full proof as there will still be some litter spotted here and there but the mat does a good job of containing most of it if you have a cat that lots to dig in the litter box. My ONlY complaint and why I didn’t give a 5 star review is the sheer laziness of the design of this mat. The larger size mat which is what I purchased, the center is just 4 pieces glued together which I find such a travesty for the designer laziness is shown through. If only the center is also holes, this product would be a 5 star.

I have purchased 3 of these mats. They work well and are easily cleaned.

I got this because my two cats track their litter all over the room the litter box is in. It gets all over the floor, the dressers and worst of all, our BED.I don't like sand. It's course and rough and it gets everywhere... And the litter is just like sand. We got a standard, cheap kitty litter mat. It didn't work that well and my little cat tore it to shreds.I got this one because from the pictures it looked very heavy duty. I wanted a mat that could withstand my little cat's onslaught. It's not actually "heavy duty". The mat is rubbery and flexible BUT it's most likely tough enough to hold up to normal use from a normal cat.The various pits in the mat are great at catching the litter. Once I installed it there was hardly a single grain of litter outside of the mat. I was actually pretty satisfied with it... Until night fell...My little cat tore up this one too. It took him a few nights but about half of it was ripped to pieces before I gave up and got rid of it.After this I got a front porch mat for $5 at Home Depot. Super tough so my little cat can't tear it up and the design catches the litter just as good.If you have a sweet, dainty cat this may might be perfect for you. But for me (and my jerk cat), it just couldn't cut it.

I am so glad i found and purchased this mat. It has cut down on litter tracking remarkably. I have hardwood floors throughout my home and have tried various cat litters (picky and unhappy cats with that experiment) so i decided to go back to the litter they like and i dont mind so much but start changing mats. After lots of research, i chose this mat first and love it!! Its soft for both of my cats and super easy to clean too. Best feature is one mat is perfect fit for regular size cat box with plenty of matting to go around for when they kick and bury poos. Its own features catch the litter if its kicked out or off of their paws (helping to keep their paws cleaner so happier cats) and floors have so much less litter to sweep up constantly. I highly recommend for cat homes. My oldest son bought a mat for his home and cat. He uses it in a carpeted area with just as great results... cleaner home & cleaner cat paws & happier kitty.

Disclaimer: We have 2 cats currently, but I have had cats (and thus, litter boxes) all my life. This is our story (so far) with our two fixed, female kitties.PROS:-Um, can I say everything? This is SO MUCH better than those yucky mesh ones.-So easy to clean. When I DO clean it and scrub it, I actually feel like it's getting CLEAN, unlike the mesh ones.-Easy to vacuum/sweep for all the inbetween times. A plus in my books because who likes to move the litter box and shake out the mat everrrryyy day? Not this girl.-Truly has cut down on tracked litter around the house. The mesh ones will do this, too, but see above pros as to why I'm convinced this is the better option.-Doesn't move. We have it on tile, and it's the type of rubber that will grip the ground and not slide around or fold once laid flat.CONS:-The most miniscule of all "cons" is that it ships rolled up and takes a day or two to relax into a fully flat position. So just don't get in a hurry and boom, problem solved.We have this mat under our open (no lid, no door) litter box to where it extends around the box (within kitty jumping range). The cats have one way to jump in/out of the box, thus the mat is where all the litter traffic happens. Let me tell you people, this thing is incredible! The amount of litter scatter has reduced dramatically, and is wayyyyy more manageable now.If you are in the market for a litter mat that is:-Easy to clean/can actually get clean-Traps MOST litter (the company would be lying if they said their mat traps all litter, but this one does get the majority, and also, PLACEMENT is so important, too)Then this is the mat for you! We've had it about 4 months now, and it's still going strong. Definitely a fan!

Having tried lots of mats, this is the best, and stops any tracking. Wish we'd bought it years ago.Excellent product and well made.
