On an archtop
Read a load of stuff saying don't it's too light a gauge and some saying do. So I put a set of 11s on an Epiphone Olympic and so far it sounds good (for gypsy style exercises). If I change my mind, I'll come back and amend this.

I guess there's a lot of personal preference to guitar strings, but these are excellent, sound right, last well, and good value when the price is right (prices seem to fluctuate).

Beautiful but……
My only grievance with these wonderful strings is that they squeak a little but otherwise are fantastic to play. Very smooth. The squeaking may be how I play so please buy a set and see what you think.

For Gypsy jazz there is no better string. They can have many other uses.
They went on an old parlour guitar from the 1920s. They play and sound great.
