Overall, I was disappointed.
Kre-o has a lot to live up to with Lego out there, even Megablocks is a better value. For the price and quality I have been disappointed with all of thee sets. From ill-fitting parts to uninspired designs. It's as if they don't care about the building experience or the play value after construction. While the sets have light features they seam out of place, very gimmicky. I also own the larger Enterprise, and the top of the main section will not stay on, the design is very crude, and most of the ship is one giant part. Building with wooden blocks would have been more complex. I have seen many fan models that put all of these to shame. Including the Megablocks version of the Enterprise D from many years ago, that was decent model, but there were never any more. Lego has never disappointed me since I got my first set in 1972. Lego Star Wars was great when it started and has only improved over time. Too bad Lego did not get the Star Trek license, or even Megablocks would have been better. What a waste of money. I will never buy Kre-o again.

A Nice Quickly Built Small Kit...
This item arrived quickly and was packaged well, as is the case normally for Amazon deliveries to me.This kit took me a few minutes longer than all of the other Kre-O micro Star Trek models to build. Even with that said, I was done from start to finish in less than 15 minutes. The packaging is really nice. It's not just a little box, it's actually like a flip open case that locks closed with some plastic inserts. I normally just throw little boxes away, but I'll be keeping this one and setting it behind the D7 on my shelf. It would come in handy if I ever had to take it apart for any reason to store it myself. The base of the D7 has a light in it that works in a really nifty way. You squeeze the two lower sides of the "Delta Shield" and that activates the light that makes the red part of the base glow. This kit is the only one of the initial four that has a red base, and I think the red base looks really cool when lit up. It's a nice contrast to the blue bases of the "good guy" ships.I think that the D7 looks really good. In fact, I'd say only the Enterprise looks better. It's a very nice looking little kit, and you can definitely tell what it's supposed to be.Like I said, it's a really quick build, but I think it's a fun build and the end product is pretty cool. I highly recommend these micro Kre-O Star Trek kits. They are inexpensive and fun and look great all grouped together on a shelf!

Perfect for space battles!
My ten-year-old son assembled this in about five minutes for his four-year-old brother. We also purchased the Enterprise, equally easy to put together. Each ship is about 4"- 5," a perfect size for holding in their hands and zooming around the house doing space battles. Wonderful!

KRE-O Star Trek Klingon D7 Battle Cruiser
Its a kids toy I know but as I am a huge Star Trek fan its hard to resist some of these items. Its easy to put together and looks pretty nice opposite the USS ENTERPRISE I also had gotten.
