Love these little beeners!
These beeners are great. I have some others that DON'T lock, and have almost LOST some items I rely on. (Found them on the ground. ) I replaced those with these locking beeners, and I'm MUCH happier. I ordered, they arrived quickly, I smile.

Exactly what I needed
Great small clip to hold keys onto a belt loop, locking feature is nice for added security. You are able to remove the locking piece if desired.

It is worth the money.
I like this because it locks in place and does not fall off your purse or belt loop. I also like that it has a separate loop for the keys so they are not apt to fall off during transfer. I got the small size so it wouldn't take over my purse.

More secure than other key clips
Before purchasing this item, I carried a cheap aluminum D-clip on my keys. Every so many months, these clips would wear out - the spring would snap and the arm would flap uselessly. Recently, I saw an acquaintance carrying around a Nite Ize S-Biner on his keys. Reviews on the product were mixed - the design was well liked but the product suffered from one serious flaw: the gates opened too easily. Nite Ize clearly released this model to address that issue. The construction quality, compared to my previous cheap D-clips, is very good. The S-body feels strong; it doesn't feel like it will easily break (unlike the D-clips). The latch opens and closes smoothly and is well designed. The spring action is generated by the arm's insertion onto the body - there are no additional parts to fail/wear out.The locking mechanism works by moving a plastic slider, attached to the arm, into a notch in the S-body near the hinge. Sliding this lock in and out of the notch produces a satisfying tactile click which informs that the lock has been engaged/disengaged. This design allows me to open the S-biner easily - using my thumb, I can unlock and open the gate in one smooth push. The converse, while not as easy as opening, is still manageable with one hand; I simply pinch the slider b/w my thumb and index finger and pull. It took some practice, however, and I initially needed 2 hands to lock it.The black plastic slider moves easily and smoothly along the length of the arm. The piece, fortunately, doesn't move on its own - in other words, if I disengaged it from the notch and shook the device, the black plastic wouldn't move along the arm. When the slider is in the locked position, the lip further prevents it from opening unintentionally. While it isn't impossible for the locking mechanism to be disengaged accidentally, it seems very unlikely given the necessary force and the slim profile of the plastic slider. Furthermore, the black plastic slider isn't able to slide off the end of the arm - Nit Ize has designed a small lip on the inside of the plastic which prevents this.In sum, this is a well designed mechanism - it is sturdy and secure. I feel confident that it will secure my keys throughout my day-to-day activities. I would recommend this product.

Organize your keys
This 'biner is good for many things, but I have found it most useful for keeping keys, a mini-flashlight and a huge remote car fob separated.

Lightweight with dual locking chambers
I'm a fan of these types of carabiners but do be aware that the little black bits that comprise the locking feature are super duper tiny and they can easily slide off and get lost if you don't have excellent fine motor skills. This one holds up to 10lbs but I have only tested it to about 7lbs and it worked well for me. They're pretty lightweight and versatile. I have a bunch of carabiners from Nite Ize and they're all pretty good as long as you understand what you're buying. The sizing should be improved upon, though, to reduce confusion when choosing the best size biner for your needs.

Smaller than what you might need, works good for keeping my house key safe on bike rides though!
My wife had issues with the traditional carabiners having spring fatigue over time, resulting in lost keys multiple times over the decades. I did some research and found this recommended on some Every Day Carry (EDC) lists, and thought it would be a good choice for her. Sadly, it was too small for her usage, but I found it to be perfect for my bike rides when I'm at home alone. I can lock the house, then clip the key under my saddle and go about my ride. I've had no issue with it falling off, even on some rougher suburban terrain. While it did work well for my uses, you'd probably want to go with a size #3 or bigger depending on your needs.
