Fantastic Weather Seal – Keeps the Garage Clean and Well-Sealed!
I absolutely love how clean and polished this Jin&Bao Universal Garage Door Threshold Weather Seal makes my garage look! I was dealing with leaves, dust, and dirt constantly blowing in, especially on windy days, and this seal completely solved the problem.Installation Tips & Process:The install was fairly easy, and I’d highly recommend taking a few prep steps to make it even smoother. I unrolled the weatherstrip a day in advance and let it sit out in the sun to warm up and straighten—this made handling and placement much easier. Once inside, I laid it out next to the garage door to mark off the measurements and notched out the corners for a form-fitting seal before applying any adhesive. To ensure a perfect fit, I did a dry run by placing it on the threshold and closing the garage door to check alignment. I then marked the exact placement with a pencil and yellow chalk line, so I knew exactly where to apply the adhesive. When it came time to install, I used both tubes of adhesive generously, working carefully to avoid any gaps. I pressed the seal down evenly from one end to the other and immediately wiped off any excess adhesive with a wet rag for a clean finish. After letting it dry for a few hours, I closed the garage door, and by the next day, it was firmly sealed and secure.Final Thoughts:This weather seal is a game changer for keeping my garage cleaner and more protected from the elements. The tight seal ensures no more dust, dirt, or debris sneaking in under the door. I couldn’t be happier with the results—highly recommend!

Exactly what our garage needed!
Our garage is on the north edge of town, facing an open field. We have lots of leaves that blow in, lots of snow that blows in, rain, etc. These rubber thresholds, along with new bottom-seals and side/top seals on our garage doors totally fixed the problem. I didn't secure these thresh-holds with silicon until a few months after I cut them and put them on the concrete. The wheels for our cars never moved them an inch. I ended up adding the sealant for good measure, but they probably would have stayed in place no matter what. Great, cost-effective solution and easy to install. I just used a contractor-blade or a box-cutter to cut them to size. They glue down with a tube of black all-weather silicone. No more snow drifts in the garage!

Awesome seal, but no adhesive!
Awesome rubber seal, but did not come with sealant/adhesive as advertised. Had to purchase at local store to complete garage.

Works great, but takes a little effort to position correctly
I used a 20' piece for an 18' opening. IMO the first 6 inches was ruined because it was the inside of the coiled product in the box. That was OK because I didn't need every inch, but something to consider. I laid the strip out for a week to flatten and warm up in the summer garage, and it was reasonably flat, other than one end.First you need to figure out which way is out and which is in. I positioned it so my door would roll down on the relatively flat edge, leaving the larger hump inside the door. In my case the door fit fairly snug to the ground--but not snug enough to keep water out--so I couldn't have it come down on a higher part or it would trip the door sensor and immediately open. Obviously I could have adjusted that, but decided not to. So, I had to try this a number of times and the result was that from the outside most of this strip disappeared behind the door when closed. Your mileage may vary. The next thing that was a pain was scribing a pencil line across the floor so I could get the strip straight. Not only does it curl up in the box, but once flattened, it can be a little wiggly before it's glued down. So, once I figured out where it needed to be, I used a long straight edge to mark a straight line across the width of the garage door. Then I was able to apply the adhesive. This is fairly thick stuff, so on the first tube I didn't open the seal enough and it required a lot of pressure to get it out of the tube. I didn't want it squirting everywhere so I went too far on the small size. Same with the nozzle. I used it the way it came, but on the second tube I cut off more. Obviously, there's no way to gauge this until you've actually used one tube.Various videos showed putting down a straight line on the floor just inside the width of the strip, and another along the other edge, just inside. Those are continuous lines--don't skip any places!--and then between them I put down a continuous curved line.I did need a helper to hold the lightly rolled strip as I pushed one end into the adhesive. This kept the rest from accidentally smearing the adhesive on the floor. So not quite as easy as the videos would have you believe, but not too bad. Make sure each end is sealed right into the garage opening so water can't get around it.We've only had 1 or 2 moderate rains, but it's worked 100%. The real test will be from harder rains but I have no reason to think it won't work. Great product!Oh, despite having a helper, I did manage to get some of the black adhesive on the yellow stripe! Oh no! I let it sit for a week and then I was able to remove it by pushing with a finger or rag. That blemish is now gone. So, if you have water coming in your garage, I really recommend this. Just plan on it taking longer than you think!
