Good starter kit and not really necessary, but a makes a great gift.

I love it. Me and my wife use it to store memories and be creative with our old photos. The process is really cool and it kept us busy while making something cool we could appreciate

I wish there was a paper with an item identification guide included instead of having to go online; as a gift, that would have been awkward. I wrote the names and quantity on flags that I stuck to each bagged item, for easier future reference, since it’s not obvious when this is a first time using this style of drying and these items. I still remember drying flowers between books or hanging on a ribbon from the ceiling, to get a dried bloom, so I have experience drying flowers, but nothing like this. Clearer instructions with the identification guide would have saved a lot of time and energy. Once you know what the items are and their purpose, it’s fairly easy to assemble and use. I appreciate the extensive instructions for re-drying out the drying board/paper and that the company tried to address almost any way that would be available to users. If there were more complete instructions included instead of in the item description, I would recommend this as a great gift for youths, especially as part of a themed package for nature enthusiasts, developing crafters/artists, and a neat part of a young lady’s tea party and memories set. There are a lot of people this would work well for, especially since it’s not a complicated method once you know and understand the components to this kit, but after multiple days I think that the old fashioned methods work as well, if not quicker, so it’s not my preference and won’t be an item I would recommend to others due to that. However, with a little artistic decorative crafting, this cinched set can look similar to the wild beast book from a famous wizarding series to decorate with for Halloween. 😉

It works well but its too bulky and a hassle to actually use. I would just stick to using heavy books

This flower pressing kit works very well! I have always just pressed flowers inside regular books, and of course they usually stick to the pages a bit and sometimes even stain the paper. This is a much more humidity-controlled method and creates much finer quality pressing results than the book method. My daughter chose the flowers, an accidental striped cosmos hybrid we created this year in our garden, and they pressed beautifully. The dried specimens capture the colors and the striping really well, which I was impressed by. Cosmos are such a thin delicate flower that I was skeptical that they would press well, but they turned out amazing! I highly recommend this to young gardeners and botany enthusiasts, although I recommend a more clear set of instructions for setting up the pressing book. It is a little vague but is possible to figure out, however it would be preferable to have more detailed instructions.

This is an excellent kit for flower pressing and comes with everything you need. It works very well.Overall, a great product that could be made even more attractive by lower the price.I will update this review if needed based on further experience.
