Brilliant product and a brilliant price for a whole years supply. We always used Finish Ultimate Plus, but found that some things just didn’t clean very well. Maybe it was my fault, maybe the tablets… who knows. We’ve only ever used Fairy Dishwashing Liquid, so I thought it made sense to change to the same brand for the dishwasher. Definitely doesn’t disappoint and glasses come out beautiful once again. Has a very nice clean smell that doesn’t leave a taste in your glasses. I didn’t opt for the more expensive ‘Platinum Plus’ version… it’s all just smoke, mirrors and marketing fluff. TOP TIP: Once opened, take 10-20 tablets and put them in a separate sealed container to use. Refill once empty. If you get a drop of moisture in the bag, they well stick together. If you try and break them apart, they will then leak on each other and create a vicious cycle and RUIN THE ENTIRE BAG.

These work WAY better than the lemon version. I find these a lot more effective than Finish's Ultra equivalents. They leave glasses clean and shiny so long as paired with Finish Rinse Aid, Original (not lemon), and a Finish Glass Protector crystal. I used to heavily rinse my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher (I know, kind of misses the point) and I found out this means the tablet has less grime to "work" with and get broken down by, which is why sometimes there's a film of soap on glasses. By rinsing the dishes less and including the crystal, this seems to have helped. From experience - hands must be dry before picking one of these out of the bag! Had a few get sticky once by picking one out with a damp hand. They dissolve fine.

These dishwasher tablets come in a foil bag with a zip style sealer. Which helps to keep the tablets dry and free from moisture contamination, which we all know is a nightmare if they get wet and stick altogether. The tablets themselves are of a good size and sit well in the dishwasher dispensing drawer. Other brands I have used in the past have been a bit larger and seem to get stuck in the dispenser causing the tablet to stay in the dispenser and not dissolve or dispense properly. No such issues with these fairy tablets. Have used approximately 8 bags of these so far and have had no issues with dispensing. Cleaning wise they seem to a pretty good job . We are in a hard water area and have had issues in the past with other brands and types of tablets , especially the hard compressed powder type tablets. The dishes are always clean with No residue left behind , glasses seem to rinse well without added rinse aid. They also do very well with dishes with baked on food, such as pie tins or casserole dishes. Scent wise I find them a bit synthetic smelling but still pleasant They are certainly more expensive than either cheaper brands or own brand tablets , but I believe the much better cleaning performance outlays significantly the extra cost, and being able to buy them in bulk makes the price difference considerably smaller. All in all a very good product that does what it is advertised . I won’t be changing to any other tablet any time soon
