Dog Backpack Carrier for Medium Large Dogs Emergency Backpack(66-88LBS)

I bought this backpack for two very important reasons, and it has already given me so much peace of mind. First, my pit bull is the biggest drama king when it comes to nail trims. The whining and theatrics are honestly hilarious, but they make the job difficult. Instead of paying for a vet visit every time, this carrier lets me safely lift and support him while my partner quickly clips his nails. It's made the whole process much easier for everyone involved. The second reason is more emotional. My dog has cancer and is thankfully in remission right now, but I know that could change. He's a big boy, and I've worried about how I would get him to the car or the vet if he became too weak to walk. Having this backpack ready gives me confidence that I'll be able to help him safely if that day ever comes. The carrier feels sturdy, distributes the weight well, and is much easier to use than trying to carry a large dog in your arms. I hope I never have to rely on it for an emergency, but I'm incredibly grateful to have it. If you have an older dog, a dog with mobility issues, or just want a safe way to support a large pup, I highly recommend it.

I've tried out all variations of a sling, a carrier, a backpack etc. Name it, I've tried it. This contraption is amazing. I really wanted it to work but the sizing is off. I ordered an xs and instead got something that's ideal for medium sized dog breeds. Breeds at minimum 20 pounds to 30 pounds would be best suited. The body of this carrier is longer than I needed, much too long that it didn't work. My dog is 19inches in length not including his head, neck, or tail. I loved this item but please sell one for actual xs small breeds!! Otherwise, the quality is outstanding and so durable. The straps were very comfortable, well padded, strong, and adjustable. This would have been so good! I'm so sad.

I bought this because my 65lbs 14 year old dog hurt her back leg and needed to be carried. I thought this looked strong and safe to help me move her. Ordered a small received a 3X, ok figured I'd try it anyway I needed to get her up and downstairs. It came all connected so I tightened up straps to try to fit her in it, which took longer than it should have, but no problem. As soon as I started clipping her, in the weight was hindering her ability to stay up on her own, by the time I got her all, in she was stressed out and I hadn't even tried lifting her up. Whoever designed this didn't think it through, the openings in the rear, aren't conducive with her being able to pee through it or poop, even if it fit. This was not well thought out at all. Had to remove it downstairs so she was able to hobble about to do her business, since the weight, and lack of flexibility made it impossible. The harness will end up smelling like pee because it covers the area.. The "handles" for you could carry them like a suitcase aren't functional at all you have to hold each individually since they in no way meet, to use one hand. Which makes no sense given it's too big for her. The straps for the harness are just as badly thought out, and there is no other way to arrange to use it. Utterly ridiculous. The construction is sturdy, but since the functionality is lacking, it's the only positive thing I can say. Even if it was the correct size, the set up makes it impossible for a female dog to void in this contraption. Don't waste your, time or money for a female dog definitely 💯

My dog is 70lbs and "beefy" (American pitbull terrier and german shepherd mix) and needed leg reconstruction surgery and I can not lift her myself. This helped so much in getting her in and out of my jeep. However size down!!!! I measured and it was still big! She wears a L or XL in clothes but I got a med and its still a little long. The straps to make it a backpack and difficult to figure out even when looking at the ad photo and it does NOT come with instructions. She is still too heave for me to do the backpack but I am only 5'2" so would probably work better for someone bigger than me. But the lift itself is STURDY and the BEST one I have found that wont dig into your fur baby and has the best support! I trust it fully!

Wonderful! My disabled Doberman and I could go on walks together again. Thank you for helping me keep her last months as close to normal as possible. I felt moved to leave this review because when I saw the product in my list, I was flooded with the memories of her happily looking around, enjoying the sights and smells and movement outside that she’d been missing.

This is definitely for larger men! I am a 58 230 pound woman. It has no waist belt though it looks like it does, it does have dual chest straps one across the chest and one across the belly. You have to make sure you have everything adjusted for you before you put it on. There is no let me pull this down to help lift the dog up feature like on other products. Adjusting it while you’re wearing it is too difficult, especially if you’re alone. The video online really helped put it together. I would say it’s very durable. We didn’t have any issues with it, I got a small for my mid/petite American bully. She’s 21 inches long and it fit her perfect, maybe slightly small, but it was better than the medium, which would’ve been too big for her. The biggest problem is that I have boobs and I don’t have wide enough shoulders. So if you have a feminine frame, this is not for you. I am returning.

This has been a game changer for us and Olive. She is 16 now and has lost the use of her back legs, but she still enjoys camping and being carried on hikes. She looks totally comfortable in this front pack and loves rubbernecking while we explore different areas. There are a crazy number of buckles on this thing, but it all works. Also, very comfortable for the person who is carrying this 20 pound weight. The harness is padded in all the right areas for Olive and for the person carrying her. This has allowed us to continue doing active things with our old girl, and we are so grateful for it. We have also used it in times when she had injured her back as a more gentle way to lift her when we needed to move her around. Very sturdy product.

Just got it and there are no instructions in the package. It has a million buckles and straps and the brief video with the product description on Amazon is very unclear, especially since there is no narration and it uses a stuffed animal dog. You can apparently adjust it for carrying the dog in front or in back, but it's a mystery how to do that (video doesn't show the difference). The shoulder straps are very loose and it doesn't appear to secure to the waist for stability. We'll give it a try today, but I'm afraid we may have to return it for lack of instructions. We need to be sure our dog is safe and secure in this harness and I can't do that without proper instructions.
