Drops in fine on Chibson LP
Although product does not come with a printed instructions or a link to an online instruction video it was a very simple install and all parts and tools I needed were provided. The extra spring included is stiffer than the one installed, it's a little opaque how to swap screws: You need to use one of the provided allen keys to loosen the large central retaining nut. I did not take mine all the way out, I just loosened it until I had enough room to swap springs and then tightened it back up. Most discussion I saw online said the stiffer spring is the way to go. This is a very modest amount of vibrato. A little warble, nothing dramatic. the trem bar can be adjusted for length and angle but I have been unable to figure out a way to tighten its level of horizontal rigidity. I think this is a great balance of value and utility. I'm not taking a 200$ imitation LP custom to a luthier to pay them hundreds of dollars to properly install a 200$ Bigsby. Suggest using a roller bridge with this as the tune-o-matic style have a sharp "v" notch which can wear your strings when you use the vibrato.

So cool!
I love this vibrato! Easy to install and a good price. It fit right on my factory stud holes, easy as it gets. I use it with a roller bridge, locking tuners, and it works amazing. Good tuning stability, feels well made, not cheap and flimsy. I highly recommend!

I like this trem, having fun with it, but it does have some quirks which could be improved.
This tremolo product gets you and your guitar an easily-installed simple, affordable tremolo system, which expands your range of playing options and sounds, without drilling any holes or routing chambers. Bolts right onto any standard Gibson-Epiphone-type stopbar (string-stop) tailpiece. It generally seems very well made from a plated zinc alloy, has some beef and weight to it, looks great on the guitar, very “hot rod custom” type of styling. Overall, it’s a good product and I’d recommend it to others, but with a couple of caveats: 1. The spring tension feels very soft right out of the box, and initially the string tension was enough to make the trem “float” a slight amount, resulting in some tuning instabilities and initial tuning frustrations. It just wouldn’t hold tune. However, breaking-in the spring by using it a lot for a couple of days, has seemingly work-hardened it, and stiffened it some, to the point where tuning has improved significantly. But it still does not hold tuning as well as the avg Bigsby or Strat trem. I believe it needs a stronger stiffer spring to perform optimally, and I’m going to search for an auto valve spring or something similar to modify it. Given the price of the product, I’m not upset about this, it’s a challenge I’ll accept and enjoy. But to the makers/sellers: You’ll need to improve your springs and/or offer some stiffer ones for more reliable tuning stability. 2. Compared to other tremolo systems, this trem arm seems very long, and sits in an awkward range from the bridge, even after max adjustment to shorten the distance and feel. My solution was to saw off the angled end of arm, plus another 1/2”, allowing me to shorten it considerably and get it to sit closer to where a std strat or Bigsby trem arm tip would sit. Much more comfortable now and easily reached from my normal playing position. So to conclude, I like it, sticking with it, enjoying it now, but still looking to improve it with a modified stiffer spring, or inner “booster” spring nested inside the stock spring. Tuning stability is a really important thing.

A VIBRATO FOR MY FIREBIRD!
I recently bought a new Epiphone Firebird and wanted to put a vibrato on it. I chose the Guyker based on its design and the relatively low cost. I figured that if it did not work out I would not be out that much money. I also bought the roller bridge as part of the bundled package. Installation was very easy and straightforward. No modifications to the 'Bird were needed, so it is easy to restore the guitar to its original condition. While no instructions were included, installation was pretty much intuitive. I was impressed by the fact they included an extra spring for the vibrato. Once installed, I have found it to be effective for gentle vibrato effects. You can also do limited dive bombs with it, but another type of vibrato might be better suited for those. So far, this has proven to be a very good vibrato. Everything stays in tune and I have yet to break a string! Overall I can recommend this!

Better than reviews might lead you to believe.
I've seen most of the reviews of this on youtube, and they might lead you to think that these never stay in tune, and that you constantly break strings. I really didn't want to get a Floyd Rose FRT, so I crossed my fingers and ordered this... as well as Guyker locking tuners, and a Guyker roller bridge. I am happy to say that after the very easy installation of all that, it preforms rather well. Using it as a wiggle stick, it stays in tune very well. Even dive bombs stay in tune reasonably well. I also have yet to break a string, although a close look at the trem shows how you might run into that. The two high strings (B and E) get rather close to the edge of the slot in the trem, and when you wiggle the stick, they might rub against the edge. If said edges aren't rounded enough, you'll eventually break a string. That's why you'll also see reports that filing/sanding the slots can solve the string breaking issue. I don't think mine has this issue, but I can see how it could for some of these things. But if you know where the issue arises, it's a really simple fix anyone should be able to handle. A small file and/or some 600 to 800 grit sand paper and a few minutes to smooth out the slot(s) and you should be fine. I also see where not getting the roller bridge and the locking tuners could lead to tuning stability issues. Just get all three. They're cheap. Much cheaper than a Floyd Rose trem, and far easier to install. Odds are good you won't have problems, and any problems you might have are simple enough to fix. If I had the money, would I get the FR instead? Hell yes! But I can't throw that kind of money around, and Guyker makes it where I don't have to.

Very easy to fit. Looks “interesting”. Bought the roller bridge to use with it. Which was also a decent fit. Quality looks ok. Not sure how heavy duty it is, feels quite meaty though. Tuning stability seems ok. It had new strings so need those to settle in to be really sure about that. Functions very well. Don’t expect massive divebombs and wild Vai type whammy bar abuse. I think it might be more Hank Marvin in that respect. Yet to see how the finish holds up obviously. It is still very new. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase.
