Delicious Nutritious Snack
Just dates with walnuts mushed inside. Jujube dates are a special variety that tastes like dried apples. Who woulda thunk they'd be so yummy together.

Tastes like a sweet bread with a walnut added - - PROP 65 LEAD/CADMIUM warning
Jujube 'dates' are not actually dates at all, though they are a similar size and look.Be aware that this product has a warning on it for heavy metal exposure. The food itself is interesting. The outside of the date is smooth and the skin is kind of crunchy and thin but the inside is like bread! Soft and stretchy... would never have expected that. The taste is mildly sweet, sort of like overbaked Hawaiian bread. There is a walnut inside the date that you can simply pluck out to eat by itself if you please. Each date is individually packaged which is nice for sharing but is an awful lot of plastic. Will dry your mouth out so have something to drink on hand.Due to the heavy metal warning and the combination of textures that just aren't what I'd typically reach for when looking for a snack, I would recommend them to people who already like jujubes or those that are interested in trying them but this isn't an item that I would go out and buy or suggest to the public in general.

Individually packaged. Date is dry
Well, I do like that this product is supposed to be made with natural ingredients - a date and a walnut. Great snack since each JuJube date with walnut is individually packaged. Approximately 20 servings per container. Since it goes by weight, my bag had 21 packets. It's a little pricy at $.75 per date and walnut. Nice snack idea, but to me the date was very dry. Received in January 2024 and expiration date is best by 10/23/24. Comes in a mylar zip type bag.The one thing that confused me was the warning label that said, "Consuming this product can expose you to chemicals including lead and cadmium which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects, or other reproductive harm". The company is based out of California and the product comes from China. While I know California is known for their warning labels, I just thought this was strange warning printed on a food item that is made with natural ingredients.

Delicious
LOVE THESE!!! They taste so good and quality seems good, too! They're my after dinner snack!I used to get these at Costco (diff brand) but they've been MIA lately, so I was happy to find them on Amazon for a reasonable price.

Tastey treat, bag is bulky, proposition 65 warning
What I like about the product:- fresh texture.. good combo of soft and crunchy.. good balance of sweetness, overall a yummy snack that I liked more than I thought I would!- no added ingredients or sugars- great for taking on the go/ traveling- plant based and whole food snackPossible cons:- bag is bulky and takes up a lot of room in my cupboard- individually wrapped in plastic so a decent amount of waste...- has proposition 65 warning on it which I didnt realize until I got the bag. And i know people say it is on everything, but it's not on high quality grown foods, so this tells me that the dates or walnuts leached cadmium/lead from toxic soil. Each date has about 1 and a half walnuts stuffed inthem. I enjoyed these and they are a convenient option while on the go, but I wouldn't reorder just because of the p65 warning... otherwise good product
