Those pretty oil bottles are lovely on the counter, but they have to be cleaned - not easy. These plastic bottles are definitely much easier to clean - wide opening for cleaning the bottle, and the cap is two pieces fitted together, also making cleaning easier. And who doesn't have a straw cleaner now to get into the nozzle for a good cleaning. One somewhat annoying issue. When tipping the bottle to pour oil, the cap tends to fall back toward the nozzle and partially into the stream of oil. It doesn't stay put away from the nozzle as pictured. You have to keep a finger on it or hold the bottle at such an angle so it stays out of the way. Otherwise you're dealing with oil from the cap all over the nozzle. *Update* Ordered a 2nd set and the cap stays put, away from the stream of oil - so manufacturing not consistent. All in all, this is a very servicable oil dispenser and at a decent price. Soft enough to easily squeeze pour. The cap doesn't leak. The nozzle cap *snaps* on, so it's unlikely to come off if the bottle tips or falls. And it's convenient to clean.

I use a lot of honey. I have arthritis in my hands. The store bought honey sold in plastic containers are difficult to squeeze. The OXO bottles allow me to squeeze without pain. The bottle is also very easy to open and close with no mess

I love these squeeze bottles! It's a durable plastic material that doesn't leak out your sauce or whatever liquid it's holding. It's easy to use, and open. The only thing is it's a little difficult to close if you're not paying attention. You need to line up the cap and opening, so if you're multitasking, you might miss. It's not a big deal. To clean, I find that using a baby bottle brush is the best to fully clean it out. I just use some liquid soap detergent, water, and the brush, and everything is clean. It gets out oil, and any other debris in it.

Where had you been all my life! I was too cheap before, but these are so worth the price...holding up so well I added more so I could expand my uses.
